Spiritualita a resilience / Spirituality and resilience

Šolcová, Ludmila January 2021 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the psychological construct of resilience and spirituality. These are phenomena with overlaps in practice (psychotherapy, prevention), which have recently been widely researched not only in psychology. In the theoretical part we present spirituality and resilience from the point of view of psychology and we also deal with their connection in psychological research. The main goal of the empirical part is the research verification of the relationship between spirituality and resilience. We also dealt with the structure of this relationship, looking for possible negative correlations within these two phenomena. Our sample consisted of 407 respondents aged from 18 to 30 years. Resilience data were obtained on-line using the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale method, spirituality data using the Czech method of the Prague Spirituality Questionnaire. Keywords resilience, spirituality, protective factor, adversity

DEATH OF A CLOSE PERSON IN THE CONTEXT OF SPIRITUALITY Mgr. Sylvie Stretti The dissertation submitted is dealing with the relationship between the subjects of the death of a close person and spirituality, especially personal concept of spirituality. Death of a close person is a crucial turning point in the life of a human being. The turning point affecting the next life in all aspects of the human life, in all its directions - biological-, psychological-, and sociological-spiritual. The complete care about a human being is more and more applied in the context of health or disciplines working with relations or connections; it is thus relevant to be aware of this fact of multidisciplinary cooperation and enrichment. I introduced the status of current approaches to subjects of the death of a close person and spirituality and introduction to the problematic in the beginning of my work. The subject of spirituality occurs in relation to extraordinary events, i.e. in the interdisciplinary field; this corresponds just with human dimensions. If our interest in a human being as a whole, i.e. also the care about a human being as an entire being is concerned here, it will be understandable that not only various disciplines but, first of all, the interdisciplinary cooperation should be perceived in this...

Askeze východní a západní mnišské tradice zaměřená na evangelijní rady v díle Tomáše kardinála Špidlíka / Asceticism of the East and West Christian tradition focused on evangelical counsels in the work of Tomas Cardinal Spidlik

Láznička, Viktor January 2017 (has links)
The aim of the thesis is to compare the Eastern and Western Christian ascetic practices focused on obedience, chastity and poverty, i.e. the evangelical counsels, in the work of Cardinal Špidlík. It is exactly Špidlík's work that is a significant source for this subject. As an expert of the Eastern tradition and at the same time a member of the Jesuit order, Cardinal Špidlík, the theologian of the undivided Church, is very well familiar with both spiritualities. Subsequently I analyze the possibilities of layman to live according to these counsels, which is also a bonding line of the whole thesis. Last but not least, this thesis aims to reflect through secondary literature the Špidlík's concept of evangelical counsels and also the possibilities of laymen to live according these counsels. Keywords christian spirituality, asceticism, obedience, poverty, chastity, layman, evangelical counsels
