Sexuální reaktivita teleiofilních a pedofilních mužů na audio stimuly (replikační studie) / : Sexual reactivity of teleiophilic and pedophilic men to audio stimuli (a replication study)

Vagenknecht, Václav January 2017 (has links)
The assessment of pedophilic sexual preferences is an important part of forensic and research practice. Standardization of methods and stimuli used across sites is missing, making data transferability and comparability more difficult. The aim of this study was to investigate if the stimuli used in the USA and Canada are able to reliably distinguish between pedophilic and control subjects in the Czech Republic, based on their elicited sexual arousal. A stimuli set was first translated into Czech and voice recordings were created for the narratives. Sexual arousal was measured using circumferential penile plethysmography. 29 pedophilic (15 heterosexual; 14 homosexual) and 26 control (12 heterosexual; 12 homosexual) participants took part in the study. The sample comprised mostly non- delinquent individuals. The results revealed a significant difference in the subjective sexual arousal ratings as well as sexual reactivity between pedophiles and control participants in response to both child and adult stimulus categories. Correlation analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between subjective ratings and sexual reactivity to both child and adult stimulus categories. The results indicate that the audio recordings are a suitable tool to distinguish between pedophiles and controls. The...

Vliv atrapy na chování samců strnada obecného a budníčka menšího v playbackových experimentech / Effect of a dummy on behaviour of Yellowhammer and Chiffchaff males in playback experiments

Kubátová, Hana January 2021 (has links)
A playback experiment in which a recording of vocalization is played to the tested subject and its response is observed, is a widely used tool for examining bird song and its functions. Most often only acoustic stimulus is used, but sometimes a visual stimulus is also provided in the form of a dummy. Taxidermic mounts or models made from different materials are used as the dummy. It is discussed among researchers, whether it is or is not necessary to use a dummy in experiments and how does its presence affect behavior of the tested individuals. However, only few studies directly focus on this issue and test the effect of dummies. The best way to test the effects of a dummy on passerines in playback experiments is to test the same individuals in both situations (with a dummy and without a dummy) and compare the reactions. The aim of this theses was to perform such experiments on Chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita) and Yellowhammer (Emberiza citrinella) males and to find out whether they would behave similarly in both variants of the experiment, or if their reaction would be enhanced in the presence of a dummy. Chiffchaffs reacted significantly more aggressively in the dummy experiment. The biggest difference was time spent by attacking the dummy and staying close to it. In Yellowhammers, the dummy...

Motivace pracovníků ve vybraném podniku / Employees motivation in selected company

SOUKUPOVÁ, Jitka January 2007 (has links)
I have concentrated my diploma work to the system of motivation and stimulation. As a subject of my study I chose the company AISIN EUROPE MANUFACTURING CZECH s.r.o. that currently employs 270 people. Its motivation and stimulation system has got very sofisticated structure for motivation and stimulation of the employees. As a method of my work I have chosen investigation by questionnaire, interview and observation. The questionnaire that became a starting point of my study was based on theoretical knowledge and features important for evaluation. The goal of the investigation was to analyze attitude of the employees to the individual motives and motivators and herewith to find out how they perceive fulfilment of those factors by the company. Answers to each question are displayed in a graph and a chart which are accompanied by the results and discussion. Inquired group of employees covered all the departments in the company. Getting to know the wide range of motivation and stimulation means in the company, I found out that the company AISIN EUROPE MANUFACTURING CZECH s.r.o. prefers material remuneration and offering benefits to the employees. Regarding remuneration, I would propose to apply flexible component of the salary that a manager could use to valuate a subordinate more often, respectively in one month period. Regarding communication and information flow, I would recommend to install digital mean of sharing information and also to place it close to the employee entrance in order to announce the changes to the employees as soon as they enter the plant. Another proposal for improvement is to start operation of company buses for the employees. Thereby the company might recruit qualified manpower also from locations close to premises of the company but currently without good trasportation service.
