Previous issue date: 2006 / Esta dissertação buscou como objetivo desenvolver uma proposta de instrumento
que permita analisar as estratégias de utilização da Internet como ferramenta de
marketing nas empresas que utilizam o marketing de forma sistematizada e
profissional. Modelos de negócio, inovadores ou não, inevitavelmente precisam
desenvolver estratégias de marketing, para realizar as trocas necessárias a sua
atuação no mercado, com o objetivo de alcançar a melhor condição financeira que
se possa obter. A Internet surgiu, tornou-se uma importante ferramenta; alguns
autores a vêem como um elemento que revoluciona os padrões de atuação no
mercado estabelecido, outros teóricos a vêem como um complemento essencial e
estratégico às maneiras tradicionais de competir. A questão central é que ela está
aqui presente, mas seus potenciais ainda são pouco explorados porque ela é
utilizada, com padrões de estratégia baseados nos recursos antecessores. O uso
efetivo da Internet permite às empresas, como qualquer outra ferramenta de
marketing, criar vantagens competitivas. Esta utilização exige, no entanto, uma
forma estratégica de pensar adequada a cada situação. O instrumento propositivo
construído permite analisar as estratégias de utilização da Internet como ferramenta
de marketing, classificando-as de forma a compreender as novas dinâmicas e
necessidades das empresas no mercado. Ele foi demonstrado através do estudo de
quatro casos ilustrativos nas empresas: MFX do Brasil, Boni Alimentos, Shopping
Iguatemi de Salvador e Google. / Salvador
