Simulace oteplení rozváděčů VN / Simulation of temperature-rise in MV switchgear assemblies

Kapalla, Alexej January 2021 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the issue of heating of medium-voltage switchgears. The paper contains descriptions of the individual devices which the switchgear consists of. Furthermore, the paper examine the theoretical relations which describe the heating of the conductor. It also present the normative regulations regarding the heading of MV switchgears as well as specific impacts which influence the final temperature-rise. This is followed by chapters that describe the refining of a 3D model of specific switchgear for purposes of simulating temperature-rise, further followed by chapters that look at the actual simulation environment. The thesis further focuses on the actual simulation of MV switchgear temperature-rise and it will compare the results of the simulation with measurements taken under real conditions. The thesis also includes results of simulated temperature-rise while taking into consideration the forced cooling of the switchgear. In the last part, it focuses on the creation of an excel file, which enables the prediction of final results for the temperature-rise of disconnector based on its contact resistance.

Výpočet uzemňovací soustavy v rozvodnách VVN / Dimensioning of Earthing System in HV Switchgear

Buršík, Roman January 2009 (has links)
My master's thesis is focused on grounding of HV switchgear. The aim of this work is to create a computer program intended for dimensioning of earthing networks. The earthing networks are the most convenient alternative in term of effective grounding and distribution of ponential. They are based on latiny a flat conductor network cables and connection of appliance parts to network. Introduction of the thesis is dedicated to explanation of grounding theory and to description of requirements essential for properly designed earthing system (dimensioning of earthing system). Following chapter brings description of computer program algorithm testing propriety of an assigned earthing network for a particular switchgear. The chapter also contains description of an user interface and explanation of all features, included in the program. Last part provides presentation of program utilization to particular numerical assignment.

Optimalizace procesu práškového lakování s výsledkem snížení pracnosti konečné úpravy komponent plynem izolovaných rozvoden - GIS / Optimization of powder-coating process resulting in a reduction of labor intensity of finishing components in gas insulated substation - GIS

Svoboda, Tomáš January 2016 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the optimization of powder-coating process resulting in a reduction of labor intensity during finishing components in gas insulated switchgear (GIS). The thesis is divided into five main chapters that describe characteristic and function of gas insulated switchgear (GIS), the theory of powder-coating, including mechanical and chemical pretreatment of surfaces, the studies of contemporary quality of coating process in the company ABB s.r.o. with classification of components of GIS according to their function. This chapter also contains detailed analysis of section of coating process during the processing of selected parts (housing and conductor). The thesis also contains detailed studies of masking of surfaces at coating parts, specifies the most common defects and determines the main cause presented in a well-arranged chart, design, description and realization of optimization solutions with selection and evaluation of final version. An economic comparison of contemporary condition of powder-coating process with designed optimization solution is stated at the end of the thesis.

Simulace elektrického pole v prostoru přípojnic vn rozvaděče / Simulation of electric field in the area of switchgear busbars

Müller, Michal January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this work is to simulate the electric field in the space of busbar HV switchgear. More precisely, the aim is to find a place with the most critical value of the electric field, the design of measures to reduce the size of the field at this point. The simulation was performed using the finite element method program. The simulation found the most critical area. Using the basic physical principles it has been proposed solution. This solution reduced twice the magnitude the electric field in this area.

Reduction of capacitor switching transients by controlled closing

Brunke, John Herman 01 January 1980 (has links)
This thesis presents the theory, analysis, testing and implementation of a scheme to reduce shunt compensation capacitor switching transients. The described method is switch the capacitors very near the instant when the bus voltage is at a power frequency zero. This was accomplished with a vacuum breaker on a 230 kV shunt capacitor bank.

Parallel hardware accelerated switch level fault simulation

Ryan, Christopher A. 02 October 2007 (has links)
Switch level faults, as opposed to traditional gate level faults, can more accurately model physical faults found in an integrated circuit. However, existing fault simulation techniques have a worst-case computational complexity of O(n²), where n is the number of devices in the circuit. This paper presents a novel switch level extension to parallel fault simulation and the switch level circuit partitioning needed for parallel processing. The parallel switch level fault simulation technique uses 9-valued logic, N and P-type switch state tables, and a minimum operation in order to simulate all faults in parallel for one switch. The circuit partitioning method uses reverse level ordering, grouping, and subgrouping in order to partition transistors for parallel processing. This paper also presents an algorithm and complexity measure for parallel fault simulation as extended to the switch level. For the algorithm, the switch level fault simulation complexity is reduced to O(L²), where L is the number of levels of switches encountered when traversing from the output to the input. The complexity of the proposed algorithm is much less than that for traditional fault simulation techniques. / Ph. D.
