The working theater, by the most part anarchist, was used very often during this period, serving to the reconciliation of the working class and to the dissemination of libertarian ideals. This historical period have been chosen in virtue of the projection that in those years the Grupo Teatral Cultura Social, based in the Liga Operária de Pelotas. This group distinguishes itself by his intense action, reported in the newspapers of the period, with a significant production of anarchist theater writings, made by the workers who were active in the city of Pelotas. This dissertation presents a panorama of the anarchist lively activity in the Liga Operária de Pelotas and an analysis of the dramaturgical creation of the Grupo Teatral Cultura Social, the most important involved, the staged genres and the presentations that occurred throughout the 1910s. Ultimately, is developed an analysis of the literary and dramaturgical creation of the worker Santos Barbosa, including his dialogues, stories and a dramatic prologue that provides a different view of the anarchist working class culture. / O presente trabalho tem como objetivo abordar o uso do teatro pelas classes trabalhadoras na década de 1910, na cidade de Pelotas. O teatro operário, em sua maior parte anarquista, foi utilizado com significativa frequência nesse período, servindo para o congraçamento da classe operária e para a propagação dos ideais libertários. A opção por esse recorte histórico se dá pela projeção que teve, nesses anos, o Grupo Teatral Cultura Social, sediado na Liga Operária de Pelotas. Esse Grupo se destaca pela sua intensa atuação, noticiada nos jornais do período, com uma significativa produção de textos teatrais anarquistas, realizada por operários que militavam na cidade de Pelotas. Nesta dissertação apresenta-se um panorama da efervescência anarquista na Liga Operária de Pelotas e uma análise da produção dramatúrgica do Grupo Teatral Cultura Social, os principais envolvidos, os gêneros encenados e as apresentações que ocorreram ao longo da década de 1910. Por fim, é realizada uma análise da produção literária e dramatúrgica do operário Santos Barbosa que possibilitam um olhar diferenciado sobre a cultura operária anarquista.
