The purpose of this study is adopting a process approach, aided by Bourdieu's theory of social practice, to contribute to the understanding of how dynamic capacities evolve along the trajectory of the dialectical, continuous, multilevel and multitemporal relationship between the system of dispositions and the environmental structure. From an ontological and epistemological perspective of process, dynamic capabilities are proposed as a system of dispositions of individuals and groups to adapt, which continuously transforms or reproduces, and is transformed or reproduced by organizational and macro level environmental structure. Organizational and macro-level environmental structures, in turn, are proposed as the objective relations defined by the distribution of resources in the social space. On the one hand, dynamic capacities, built by preconditions of existence, circumscribe the perception, appreciation and action of agents in relation to subjective possibilities. The organizational and macro-level environments, on the other hand, whose regularities of functioning are defined by their social histories, circumscribe the objective possibilities. As for the methodological procedures, I adopted a research approach of qualitative process, exploratory nature, and research strategy of a single case study with longitudinal design and historical perspective. The analysis of the longitudinal data referring to the period between 2009 and 2017 collected through twenty-four interviews, non-participatory observation and documents, allowed to conclude that the origin of the system of dispositions of the company Alfa precedes the establishment and beginning of its operations. Initially reproduced by professionals with previous conditions of existence similar to those of the founding partners, the system of dispositions of the Alfa company undergoes transformations along the trajectory of its dialectic relation with the environmental structure. However, with the deliberate aim of transforming Alfa's predominantly adaptive system of dispositions, the Alfa's top management transforms the environmental structure at the organizational level. / Com base em diferentes perspectivas ontológicas, o fenômeno capacidades dinâmicas tem sido definido como uma habilidade que a organização possui que reside nos processos, mas também como os próprios processos que a organização desempenha. O objetivo deste estudo é, adotando uma abordagem de processo, com o auxílio da teoria da prática social de Bourdieu, contribuir para a compreensão de como capacidades dinâmicas evoluem ao longo da trajetória da relação dialética, contínua, multinível e multitemporal entre o sistema de disposições e a estrutura ambiental. A partir de uma perspectiva ontológica e epistemológica de processo, capacidades dinâmicas são propostas como um sistema de disposições de indivíduos e grupos para se adaptar, que continuamente transforma ou reproduz, e é transformado ou reproduzido pela estrutura ambiental de níveis organizacional e macro. Os ambientes de nível organizacional e macro, por sua vez, são propostos como as relações objetivas definidas pela distribuição de recursos no espaço social. Por um lado, capacidades dinâmicas, construídas por condições prévias de existência, circunscrevem a percepção, apreciação e ação dos agentes com relação a possibilidades subjetivas. Os ambientes de nível organizacional e macro, por outro lado, cujas regularidades de funcionamento são definidas por suas histórias sociais, circunscrevem as possibilidades objetivas. Quanto aos procedimentos metodológicos, adotou-se uma abordagem de pesquisa de processo qualitativa, de natureza exploratória e descritiva, e estratégia de pesquisa de estudo de caso único, com design longitudinal e perspectiva histórica. A análise dos dados longitudinais referentes ao período de 2009 a 2017 coletados por meio de vinte e quatro entrevistas, observação não participativa e documentos, permitiu concluir que a origem do sistema de disposições da empresa Alfa antecede o estabelecimento e início de suas operações. Inicialmente reproduzido por profissionais com condições prévias de existência semelhantes à dos sócios fundadores, o sistema de disposições da empresa Alfa sofre transformações ao longo da trajetória de sua relação dialética com a estrutura ambiental. Com o objetivo deliberado de transformar o sistema de disposições predominantemente adaptativo da empresa, entretanto, a alta gestão da empresa Alfa transforma a estrutura ambiental de nível organizacional.
