Vliv průběhu počasí a délky fenofází na výnos vybraných polních plodin

The thesis is dealing with phenophases of winter wheat and spring barley. It assesses influence of the sum of active temperatures and the sum of effective temperature on the length of period between commencement of early mil ripeness and hard dough ripeness. Monitoring undertaken at the fields around Cholina village between years was used as foundation for this thesis. Phenological monitoring as well as weather data fron weather station of Czech Hydrometeorological Institute in Luká was used for analysis. In this thesis, data about winter wheat yield and spring barley yield from station of Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture in Věrovany werw also used. Analysis was carried out in during twenty yares of monitoring. Evaluation of data shows that earlier commencement of mentioned phenophase does not occur, but begin vary considerably.

The exact measuring of the temperature is the essential for a multitude manufacturing procedures and their regulations. This study is mainly focused to determine what influences can take the negative effect to exact temperature measurement. Content: List of of possible mistakes and their compensation wit the special focus on a notorious and frequent dynamic errors. Characteristic of those dynamic properties are important to analyze all the possibilities to correct different measuring systems. In this study we also present the simple model to deal with some error corrections

The dynamics of low-temperature fluids, such as superfluid helium 4, is an open scientific problem. The experimental study of similarities and differences between quantum (superfluid) and classical (viscous) flows is specifically an active research field, which already led to significant progress in our phenomenological understanding of the underlying physics. It also revealed that a comprehensive theoretical description is still missing, as, for example, in the case of the observed behaviour of moving bodies in quantum flows. The work aim is to derive the existence theory for the weak solution of a relevant system of equations based on the Landau model of superfluid helium 4 and appropriate numerical schemes to solve these equations.

Funkčnost a efektivita systému HACCP a nutriční jakost stravy v zařízení společného stravování / The functionality and effectiveness of the HACCP system and the nutritional quality of meals in public catering facilities

Objectives: The first aim of this diploma thesis was to analyze the functionality and effectiveness of the HACCP system in selected catering facilities. Other goals were to find out how to make a meal and find out the satisfaction of meals with a meal composition. Research Questions: 1. How is the temperature controlled at the expedition of the dishes in vessels and their direct dispatch? 2. How is the schedule plan of food delivery fulfilled? 3. How is the concrete diet created? 4. How are the borders satisfied with the composition of the diet? Methodology: A qualitative research survey was used in the practical part. There is the secondary analysis of HACCP data, a field survey by measuring temperature and participating in food distribution. In addition, a personal interview was conducted with the leader on nutritional recommendations and diet. Personal interviews with fifteen boarders were conducted. Results: The results of the survey point out the fact that, although shortcomings in the HACCP legislation and production chart have been identified, the critical control point of food temperature measurement is effective. The lunch distribution plan was respected. An increase in the critical limit at this critical control point has been proposed. It was recommended to introduce a critical control point when receiving raw materials. It was also found that the diet was prepared according to the preferences of the boarders. The supervisor has insufficient knowledge of nutritional recommendations. A leaflet and a recipe for a healthy alternative to traditional dishes were created. Desserts prefer traditional Czech cuisine. They prefer meat dishes, frying and baking. They are not interested in adding vegetarian dishes and legumes. The gained information can also contribute to selected catering meals to other catering companies, public health workers and students in the field.

Vizualizace pohybů částic v proudění supratekutého helia / Visualization of particle motions in superfluid helium flows

Flows of normal and superfluid 4 He (He I and He II, respectively) are investigated experimentally. Relatively small particles of solid hydrogen and deuterium are suspended in the experimental volume and their motions are tracked in both mechanically and thermally driven flows. A statistical study of the particle velocity and velocity increment distributions is performed at scales smaller and larger than the mean distance between quantized vortices, the quantum length scale of the investigated flows. We show that, at small scales, the observed particle dynamics in He II is greatly influenced by that of quantized vortices. We, additionally, report that this behavior is independent of the imposed large-scale flow. Instead, at large scales, we observe that particle motions are quasiclassical, that is, very similar to those reported to occur in turbulent flows of viscous fluids. The study reinforces therefore the idea of close similarity between viscous flows and large-scale (mechanically-driven) flows of He II, and simultaneously highlights the small-scale differences due to the presence of quantized vortices in He II.

Title: Convective storms and lower stratospheric moisture Author: Jindřich Šťástka Department: Department of Atmospheric Physics Supervisor: RNDr. Martin Setvák, CSc., Czech Hydrometeorological Institute Abstract: The primary focus of this thesis is to diagnose contributions to upper tropo- spheric and lower stratospheric (UTLS) water vapor from convective storms. The first parts of this work introduces two approaches used for a detection of lower stratospheric water vapor above convective storm tops - brightness temperature difference (BTD) technique and EOS MLS measurements. The BTD technique is based on brightness temperature difference between the water vapor absorp- tion and infrared window bands, assuming a thermal inversion above the cloud top level. The most frequently offered explanation of positive BTD values above convective storms is presence of warmer water vapor in the lower stratosphere. Furthermore, so called BTD anomalies were described and it was proposed an algorithm for objective detection of such BTD anomalies. Characteristics of pa- rameters describing BTD, BTD anomaly, infrared window brightness temperature were investigated during storms evolution on dataset of 320 storms from the area of Europe. The thesis deals with the determination of ash fusion temperatures. The first part of the thesis consist of research about the properties of ash, ash fusion temperatures and test methods, including a description of the problems associated with ash and their solution. In the second part, the ash fusion temperatures of the selected fuels are determined first experimentally and then by elemental analysis of ash. The results of both methods are compared at the end of the thesis.

Vliv teploty spalovacího vzduchu na parametry spalovacího procesu / The influence of the combustion air temperature on parameters of the combustion process

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá předehřevem spalovacího vzduchu a jeho vlivem na parametry spalovacího procesu. V teoretické části je zpracován přehled nejčastějších znečišťujících látek z průmyslového spalování. Je popsána aktuálně platná relevantní legislativa v Evropské unii a jsou porovnány její implementace do národní legislativy v České republice a v Německu. Dále je provedena klasifikace hořáků z hlediska různých kritérií a rešerše předchozí práce v oblasti předehřevu spalovacího vzduchu. Na zkušebně hořáků byla provedena experimentální studie dvou různých hořáků na zemní plyn při konstantním tepelném příkonu 750 kW se spalovacím vzduchem předehřátým až na 250 °C. Výsledky odhalily pozitivní vliv předehřevu na účinnost spalování. Množství emisí NOx a CO naopak rostlo s teplotou spalovacího vzduchu.

The diploma thesis deals with the determination of the influence of the maximum density of the cement matrix on the volume changes of concrete, the influence of different admixtures or their combinations on the development of hydration temperatures and on the water separation of concrete. The theoretical part describes the various types of volume changes of concrete, the effects of individual input components and mineral admixtures on water separation, hydration heat development and concrete microstructure. The experimental part is focused on monitoring not only the volume changes of concrete mixtures made using different types of admixtures or their suitable combination until the age of 60 days of maturation, but also the influence of their use on selected mechanical parameters of concrete such as compressive strength, concrete in its fresh state and monitoring changes in the microstructure from long-term aging mixtures.
