Didaktická anylýza učebnic náboženství / Methodological analysis of religious textbooks

Ležák, Lukáš January 2016 (has links)
In the theoretical part of the thesis I introduce the current education legislation related to the subject of religious education. Religion is a part of the educational process and has a fixed position in the curriculum. This subject must be taught by a specialist with a pedagogical and theological training who has the double role of an instructor and a person providing value orientation for his/her pupils. The role of the teacher is not making children "swot" the most important themes, but introducing them to the essential principles and ideas of Christianity. The educational process is thus superior to the actual contents, i.e. instructing children in a Christian way is the concrete objective of every catechist. Orienting children towards a moral life is a very difficult challenge. A number of motivational elements and educational tools can facilitate the process of instruction. Arguably, the single most important tool since the introduction of comprehensive educational systems has been the textbook. Textbooks have been the subject of research and this research has by now become an established scholarly discipline. The theoretical part informs about the structure of textbooks, their functions and practical use. An essential chapter of the thesis is the didactic analysis of selected textbooks, in...

An Overview of physicogeographical regionalisations and an analysis of their representation in Geography textbooks for secondary schools Abstract At present there is a large number of various regionalisations which concern the classification of the biosphere. Firstly, the thesis provides an overview in terms of the lithosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere and pedosphere. The second part contains an analysis of secondary school Geography textbooks with respect to the occurrence of regionalisation of physicogeographical spheres. The analysis is based on 3 selected criteria. The first criterion is the frequency of occurrence of the very term itself and its more precise definition. The second criterion examines whether textbooks contain graphical demonstrations of the analysed terms in a map. The third criterion enquires whether the stated terms related to regionalisation are interconnected and put into perspective with other spheres. According to the results of the analysis, the highest-scoring textbook is "Geografie I., fyzickogeografická část (2012)". As for the representation of individual regionalisations in the physicogeographical...

Učební úlohy v učebnicích anglického jazyka / Learning Exercises in English Textbooks

Dřímal, Daniel January 2017 (has links)
The thesis deals with the issues connected to learning exercises in educational English students' textbooks. The main focus is based on the occurrence of the educational exercises analysis in these textbooks. In general, learning exercises develop two main branches - the language itself (specifically grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation) and language skills (speaking, listening comprehension, reading comprehension and writing). The attention is paid to what types of learning exercises usually appear and what exactly they develop in students' cognition and their language skills. The educational enrichment coming from these activities is very important for the students' cognitive development. At first, the theoretical part of each sub-branch is discussed. Afterwards, the emphasis is placed on the learning exercises themselves as these are essential components of the students' textbooks. The theoretical part is relatively extensive. It takes the fundamental proportion of the thesis and contains detailed descriptions. The explorative section is based on analysis of several English textbooks intended for students of the English language. It focuses on the proportion of language itself and the proportion of language skills. The thesis outcomes may contribute to the English learning exercises issues. In...
