This thesis deals with the possibilities of using SWOT analysis in human resources planning at school. In the theoretical part the approaches to the management of human resources are stated and it also includes the development of concepts from this area. Subsequently the issue of human resource management in education is discussed. Attention is also paid to personnel planning in again as the market sphere and in the field of education. Another topic that is elaborated in this work is the SWOT analysis. It outlines the development of this method and its applications in several areas, including education. In the practical part there is a quantitative questionnaire survey method, under which the objective of the research is approached. It presents the results and their evaluation. Finally, there are the recommendations for further study of this method in a school environment which this technique can greatly enrich in the future. Title: Study of selected sports facilities specialized in gymnastic sports in the Czech Republic, Denmark and Norway Objectives: The purpose of this diploma thesis is to compare selected sports facilities specialized in gymnastic sports in the Czech Republic with similar facilities in Denmark and Norway, gain new knowledge about this specific area of providing sport service and from the results of this study compile an improved model for establishing and running of a new sports facility specialized in gymnastic sports in the area of the Czech Republic's capital city. Methods: In this thesis were primarily used qualitative methods of research in the form of an interview, which was done with the representatives of selected sports facilities providing similar services. The information gathered from the interview and from the method of analysis of texts and documents were further processed by the comparison method (case study comparison). The final model for establishing and running of a new sports facility specialized in gymnastic sports was compiled using the methods of observing, analogy and SWOT analysis. Title: Business plan of founding a tennis school Target: Target of the work is to set up a business plan for founding a tennis school in Prague, which should with using methods mentioned below bring the answer for essential question about space on the trade for this kind of business and it's potential rentability. Method: During processing thesis were used this methods: description (document analysis), interview with methodist of Czech Tennis Association Mrs. Jana Srnisková, written inquiries on candidates of second grade of tennis coaching, Porter five forces analysis, PESTEL analysis, competition analysis and SWOT analysis, which has helped to detect strenghts and weaknesses of tennis school and on the other hand provided evaluation of opportunities and threats analysed from external point of view. Results: The results should approach the problematic of founding tennis school in real conditions of TJ Sokol Horní Počernice. In final evaluation we can state, that in terms of exclusivity, courts will be used only with one tennis school - tennis school of Hroní Počernice. Title: Corporate identity of Water Sports Club, z. s. Objectives: Aim of this thesis is analysis of Water Sports Club association's contemporary corporate identity. On the basis of that analysis here will be created offers and recommendations to improve global corporate identity of organization and its image in general. Methods: In the thesis were presented special methods of qualitative research. I've used theoretical knowledge and information which I've found with the help of selected researching methods as the foundation for the contemporary documents' analysis and global corporate identity. Collection of the necessary information was made via depth non-structured conversation with the association's chairman and focus group which consisted of association's internal members. Results: The result of my doctoral thesis is analyzing the surroundings of the association. Alongside were created recommendations and ideas to improve corporate identity of the organization which would positively effect on the association's image in general. Methods: The practical part of thesis includes various analyzes that provide information about marketing situation. It's used Porter's model of five forces, marketing mix and PEST analysis of external macro-environment of company. Analysis of market is focused on competitiveness and its intensity. This diploma thesis deals with the tourism development in the region of Western Ukraine. The good reason for the analysis of the Western Ukraine is the fact that the part of a region (Podkarpatská Rus) belonged to our state territory in a part of our history but an awareness of the tourism potential has not been deeply analysed yet. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to process a tourism development strategy for the Western Ukraine. A partial goal is a categorization of individual destinations of the Western Ukraine in-to the Butler cycle. The initial part contains theoretical frames for this thesis. The Western region of Ukraine is specified in the Methods chapter. Qualitative and quantitative methods are used for analyses. I received important statistical figures during a communication with representative of the State Statistics Committee of the Ukraine. I analyse foreign arrivals flows to the Ukraine and to the Western Ukraine region. Further the diploma thesis is divided into two parts. Firstly I analyse a capacity of the Ukraine tourism. Title: The Marketing Strategy for fitness center Esporta Objectives: The thesis aims to create a marketing strategy for Esporta Fitness Club. Next on the analysis of the competition it was found out, which fitness centre in exact area is the biggest threat. Finally there were completed promotional program and materials for every target group. Methods: The analysis of the competition was performed by using scoring model and the individual criteria were subsequently evaluated. Next the SWOT analysis was also prepared. There were analyzed strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Also the interviewes with selected clients of fitness center were conducted. Results: The analysis of the competition showed that the biggest threat is for Esporta Fitness Club newly opened centre Pulse Wellness and Fitness. Mainly due to the favorable price offered to its clients and a wide range of services. The interviews with longtime clients showed that four out of five of those surveyed are satisfied with the fitness center and want to continue to visit it. Only one client said that knows even better fitness center. Title: Business plan of establishingt a golf academy Target: The aim of this disertation is to formulate a business plan of establishment of a golf school in Prague-East and compilation of a comprehensive systém of trainings for all age groups and whether it is viable to implement this business plan in practice. Method: There were used the following methods in this thesis: descriptive analysis, Porter's five forces model, PESTEL analysis, competitive analysis, and SWOT analysis. Results: The results of the business plan demonstrate its real use in practice, which is proved and analyzed through the financial analysis of the projected revenues. The location in Říčany is very suitable for this type of business due to the minimal competition in the sector and the constant population growth there. The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the situation in cycling in selected region -- Prague. The thesis highlights the benefits of cycling in the city and its surrounding, assess the current situation and projected development. The theoretical part focuses on access to bicycle transport in Czech Republic with regard to the National Strategy of Developement of cycling transport. The practical part deals with bicycle transport in Prague. Here we find SWOT analysis, planned development of infrastructure, funding sources and methods of promotion. This thesis also provides suggestions for improving the environment for cyclists on the basis of foreign experience.
