1	Analysis of Employment Service with Regard to the Thiokol Layoff Pelovsky, Gerald 01 May 1966 (has links) In 1963 the Wasatch Division of the Thiokol Chemical Corporation, located twenty miles west of Brigham City, Utah employed approximately 6,000 workers. In December of 1963 the Defense Department phased out major activities in which Thiokol was engaged and during the next three-year period about 4,000 workers were laid off.
