This work is based on the analyses of the main causes of the political independence maintenance of the Tlaxcala Province face the Mexica´s dominion on the Mesoamerican territory through the narratives of two mestizo writers of the XVI century, Hernando Alvarado Tezozomoc and Diego Muñoz Camargo.
