TRANSGENERAČNÍ PŘENOS NÁSILÍ V RODINÁCH / TRANSGENERATIONAL TRANSMISSION OF VIOLATION IN FAMILIES

SAMCOVÁ, Daniela January 2010 (has links)
The thesis describes the issue of transgenerational transmission of violence in families. The thesis is divided in into theoretical and research parts. The theoretical part describes the current state of the issue. The thesis contains several chapters focusing on a general description of violence, its causes and types. I also briefly described victims and perpetrators of domestic violence. The key chapter of the thesis deals with the transgenerational transmission of violence in families, in which I attempted to analyze the topic in detail by using opinions of several prominent authors. In the research part I set my objectives and formulated two hypotheses. The research was conducted among the general public and the respondents were selected at random. The respondents were represented evenly in terms of sex; they had different educational backgrounds and socioeconomic status. The objective of the thesis was to determine to what extent the childrearing models in families are transmitted from one generation to another and to specify which factors affect childrearing patterns. The results of the research part were described and shown in form of diagrams. The results have shown that violence is indeed transferred from one generation to another. The research has shown that most of the respondents do not agree with a childrearing method with a total absence of physical punishment. On the contrary, most of the respondents believed they were able to avoid mental punishment. It has been confirmed that a low socioeconomic status does not affect childrearing patterns. Nowadays the issue is discussed very openly and it is no more viewed as a taboo. However, the related information needs to be presented continually, including new discoveries and findings which might lead to an improvement of the situation. It is necessary to keep advertizing assistance and prevention in this area. Legislative changes are critical in the struggle against violence. A significant contribution to the solution could be the education about the issue as a natural part of curriculums for the helping professions.

Transgenerační epigenetická dědičnost u savců / Transgenerational Epigenetic Inheritance in Mammals

Dostálová, Veronika January 2017 (has links)
Transgenerational epigenetic inheritance in mamals is a widely discussed topic in today's biology. Epigenetic modifications are molecules that play a crucial role in regulation of gene transcription. Epigenetic modifications regulate another epigenetic modification's establishment. The extrinsic and the intrinsic cellular or organismal environment is involved within the establishment of epigenetic state. The molecules involved in epigenetic processes are able to regulate gene transcription in reaction to the environment and therefore these molecules partly shape the phenotype. Most importantly, epigenetic processes are affected by cellular or organismal history. A question emerges: Are these molecules able to transfer information through germline to subsequent generations? Does transgenerational epigenetic inheritance in mammals exist? Experimental data show it is so. What consequences this can mean in our understanding of evolution? Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Vznik, přenos a ekologický význam apomixie v rodě Hieracium s.str.: role genetických a epigenetických mechanismů. / Origin, inheritance and ecological sygnificance of apomixis in the genus Hieracium s.str.: the role of genetic and epigenetic mechanims

Pinc, Jan January 2020 (has links)
Apomixis (asexual reproduction by seeds) has the considerable potential in agriculture and crop breeding due to its ability to produce genetically identical progenies in a form of persistent propagules, i.e. seeds. However, the processes laying behind the origin of apomixis and connected molecular mechanisms are still unknown. Despite the fact, that apomicts are considered to be an evolutionary dead-ends, they are often more widely distributed than their sexual relatives (this phenomenon is commonly referred to as geographical parthenogenesis (GP). Although this phenomenon is studied for decades, its causes are still not fully understood. Importantly, several recent studies pointed out that apomicts with limited genetic variability can at some extent react to changing environment through changes in gene transcription by epigenetic modifications. It is generally assumed, that hybridisation and polyploidization played a crucial role in the emergence of apomixis. For this reason, presented studies test the putative origin of selected polyploid apomicts and if the interspecific hybridisation between diploid sexuals triggers polyploidization using predominantly polyploid and apomictic genus Hieracium s. str. Surprisingly, the presented study demonstrates the hybrid origin of almost all investigated...

Teorie transgeneračního přenosu v díle Emila Ajara Život před sebou (La Vie devant soi) / Transgenerational transmission theory in La Vie devant soi by Émile Ajar

Stuchlá, Aneta January 2015 (has links)
9.2 Abstract In this Master's thesis we have attempted to interpret Émile Ajar's novel La Vie devant soi using knowledge based on the psychoanalytic theory of trans-generational transmission. This theory assumes that a person who has been the victim of a traumatic experience cannot consciously refer to it, either through embarrassment or due to the fact that the trauma cannot be referred to verbally. However, he or she can refer to such traumas subconsciously in hints or symbols, precisely because expressing traumas, or their symbolisation in words, is the most effective therapy. If the trauma is not erased, it is transferred further trans-generationally. We consider Émile Ajar's La Vie devant soi to be a suitable work for applying the above- mentioned theory, not only due to the extraordinary life story of the author, but also as concerns the novel itself. Émile Ajar is a pseudonym of the well-known author Romain Gary (born Roman Kacew) who created the character of Émile Ajar in order to write freely regardless of what was expected of Gary as an established author and moreover, a well-known supporter of de Gaulle. As Gary's play on identities was brought to light only after his death, he was the only author to have ever been awarded the Goncourt Prize twice - the second time as Émile Ajar in La Vie devant...

Faktory ovlivňující názor adolescentů na problematiku domácího násilí / Factors influencing the opinion of adolescents about the issue of domestic violence

BURIANOVÁ, Jana January 2012 (has links)
Abstract The diploma thesis on the theme ?Factors influencing adolescents´ opinion on issues of the domestic violence? deals in the theoretical part with all important aspects of the domestic violence and stalking. The research part has been focused on adolescents aged 17 to 19 years living in Vysočina region, the research sample has consisted of 858 respondents. The aim of the thesis was to find out, by statistical methods on a statistically significant sample of adolescents, key factors influencing the adolescents´ opinion on the issue of the domestic violence. In relation to the aim of the thesis there were determined following hypotheses, which were tested on 5% significance level with six survey questions. Hypothesis 1: ?Statistically significant factor for the domestic violence among adolescents is their personal experience? was confirmed in four areas. Respondents having the personal experience with the domestic violence differ from the respondents without such experience in the following: they are more aware of a possibility of a partner´s violence at their age, they more refuse to tolerate the domestic violence, they better recognize a definition of the domestic violence and they are often aware of a possibility of a trans-generation transmission of the violence. In connection with this hypothesis it is important the finding, that 57 respondents (7%) have their personal experience with the domestic violence; 49 girls and 8 boys. Hypothesis 2: ?Statistically significant factor for the domestic violence among adolescents is the education? was not confirmed due to a low variability of responses and insufficient data to evaluate the hypothesis. Hypothesis 3: ?Statistically significant factor for the domestic violence among adolescents is the gender (women)? was confirmed in two areas. Girls differ from boys in the following: they are more aware of a possibility of the partner´s violence at their age and they more refuse to tolerate the domestic violence. The diploma thesis can serve as a source of current information related to the issue of the domestic violence, it provides an up-to-date data on the prevalence of the domestic violence in the adolescence and it presents information and opinions of adolescents on the domestic violence or partner relationship. The thesis can be used by professionals as well as lay public interested in the domestic violence and it can be a basis or a comparison for other studies and researches.

Transgenerační účinek výživy na potomstvo apomiktických rostlin / Transgenerational effect of nutrient treatment on progeny of an apomitic plant

Vlk, Lukáš January 2017 (has links)
Environmental conditions can influence epigenetic variability of clonal organisms. These environmentally induced changes have potential to persist in following generations. In theory, this transgenerational memory could allow clonal (and especially apomictic) plants to partly compensate reduced genetic variability and could enhance adaptative ability of apomictic populations. According to Muller's ratchet model, asexual organisms amass deleterious mutations, which could lead to their extinction. Possible transgenerational memory could partly compensate for this. It could also account for longtime survivorship of asexual organisms in environment. This thesis deals with transgenerational memory of triploid apomictic populations of Hieracium alpinum, with completely missing sexuality and thus genetically uniform offspring. Transgenerational effect in Hieracium alpinum was studied on clonal lineages originated from 5 populations (Norway, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovakia). Seeds were planted in cultivation experiment I in 3 treatments (control, added nutrients, added salicylic acid) and vegetative and generative traits were measured. Plants responded to nutrient addition but not to salicylic acid. Treatment with nutrient addition increased biomass, number of leaves and SLA (specific leaf...

Sanace rodiny ohrožené transgeneračním přenosem alkoholové závisloti / frehabilitation of family end angered by transgenerational transmission of alcohol addiction

Kaletová, Markéta January 2022 (has links)
The submitted diploma thesis is called: Rehabilitation of a family endangered by transgenerational transmission of alcohol addiction. Alcohol addiction in the family is a very current topic, as it can have a significant impact on future generations of children who grew up with an alcohol addicted parent. The theoretical part deals with the issue of alcohol addiction and its impact on family functioning, psychological and social development of children and their functioning in adulthood. It also examines the causes and manifestations of transgenerational transmission of alcohol addiction in the family, including how to prevent the risk of alcohol addiction in future generations. The aim of the empirical part is to answer the main research question through interviews: What is the personal experience of the current generation of offspring of alcohol addicted parents in creating their own family and how can the family prevent the risk of transgenerational transmission of alcohol addiction to the next generation of offspring? From the research survey, we found that children who grew up in an alcoholic environment are affected to various degrees in adult life in all areas, because they have not experienced healthy parenting patterns in the family. Furthermore, it was found that protective factors in the...

Transgenerační přenos agresivního chování v rodinách jako příčina vzniku domácího násilí / Intergenerational Transmission of Aggressive Behavior within Families as a Cause of Domestic Violence

Růžičková, Světlana January 2012 (has links)
Thesis Transgeneration transfer of aggressive behaviour in families as a cause of domestic violence has theoretically - empirical nature and is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is defined by the family, its functions, types, and family pathology is described in the context of domestic violence and CAN syndrome. The central chapters of this section also deal with educational styles, parental attitudes, characteristics of domestic violence and child development in families with the occurrence of domestic violence. The practical part includes a qualitative analysis of documents, families affected by domestic violence, held at the Municipal Office Prachatice, department of Social and legal protection of children. The analysis examined whether these families can be considered the transgeneration transfer patterns of behaviour and styles of upbringing family to multiply family. The analysis is complemented by interviewed case study. Keywords Family, functions of family, styles of education, child evolution, domestic violence, battered woman syndrome, child as a victim of domestic violence, Child Abuse And Neglect syndrome, transgenerational transmission of domestic violence.
