Hlaváček, David January 2012 (has links)
The master´s thesis deals with the flow induced by rotation of cavitating fluid in converging-diverging nozzle, which simulates the vortex rope in impeller of water turbines. Measurement is performed on an experimental circuit in laboratory. Results from experimental measurements are compared with CFD simulation of single and two-phase flow. The main focus is to compare the difference of hydraulic losses and shapes of cavitating structures identified in the experiment and in the simulation.

Numerická studie pulzační trysky při nízkých Reynoldsových číslech / Numerical Study Of Pulsating Jet At Moderately Small Reynolds Numbers

Dolinský, Jiří January 2019 (has links)

Klusoň, Jan January 2013 (has links)
The doctoral thesis deals with the experimental study of the low-temperature plasma designated for the preparation of thin films using the method of physical sputtering. It describes measurements which were realized on two types of devices - on the low-pressure plasma jet sputtering system and on the planar magnetron. The plasma diagnostics in the discharge excited in the pulse regime represent the main theme of the thesis. The discharge in the low-pressure plasma jet was studied by means of an electrostatic Langmuir probe, in the case of the planar magnetron, mass spectroscopy with energetic as well as time resolution was used. To understand the results achieved in the pulse generated plasma good knowledge of the basic continuous DC regime of the discharge excitation is essential. Therefore a considerable part of the thesis deals purely with the continuous DC discharge. In the case of the low- pressure plasma jet, the attention was focused also on the characteristic property of this plasma source, which is the flow from the jet.

Porovnání kvality lepeného spoje v závislost na druhu spojovaného materiálu při plazmatické úpravě dřeva

Masařík, Lukáš January 2014 (has links)
The work concerns in modern surface treatment, such as cold plasma. The main aim of this work was to find out the effect of plasma treatment on the surface of wood applied before glue treatment which is influential in final quality of glueing. The work compares the firmness of glued joint of solid wood-fibre slab -- HDF and locust tree on groups of samples of treated and non-treated surface in different plasma discharges. The first part of the work comprises a summary of knowledge in the plasma field and glueing and it attempts to establish a general overview of present development in research in the field of examined issue. The second part of the work deals with method of performed experiment according to the researched norms. Results of the work have proven that plasma preparatory treatment influences the firmness of glueing and at a certain type of use of plasma discharge we can improve the quality of glued joint.

Experimentální ověření ejektoru a vytvoření matematického modelu. / Experimental verification of ejector and creation of mathematical model.

Strmiska, Michal January 2008 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the area of ejectors. In the intoduction, an ejector is classed as an hydraulic machine. There is also an introduction of the principle and application of this machine there. The next part describes two different ways of calculation and there is a suggestion how to get characteristics, that were achieved by calculation in MS Excel, projected. The purpose of this diploma thesis is to confront this mathematical model with the experiment done in school laboratory at Kaplan department of hydraulic machines. The description of this experiment and the evaluation procedure of measured values is described in the final part of this diploma thesis.

Nestability spreje u trysek typu effervescent / Unsteadiness in sprays of effervescent atomizers

Beinstein, Zbyněk January 2009 (has links)
Master thesis focused on the research of the effervescent atomizers. Effervescent atomizers belong to a group of two-phase atomizers, which are often used in combustion applications. Right there in combustion applications, the degree of the stability sprays has a significant impact on combustion efficiency and exhaust gas emissions. The main aim of this work was to asses the level of spray unsteadiness depending on the atomizer design and its operating mode. The effect of construction was studied on the diameter and length of mixing chamber, and then on the size, number and location of aeration holes. Seventeen specific variants of the atomizer were constructed by different combinations of these design parameters. Each of these variants was measured in three operating modes, which were represented by a liquid pressure at the inlet to the atomizer and gas-to-liquid mass flow ratio (GLR). To evaluate the level of spray unsteadiness was used a methodology, which compares the ideal element´s distribution into the interparticle time bin, defined for the ideal (stable) spray, with the experimentally observed distribution. The laser measurement system P/DPA (Phase Doppler Particle Analyzer) was used to determine the experimental interparticle distribution. The result of the comparison of the ideal and the experimental distribution was the parameter , which expresses the level of spray unsteadiness for a specific atomizer and operating mode. With that parameter it was possible to compare the individual atomizers and determinate to the benefit of various construction´s correction of the atomizer. The results showed the recommendation for the modifications of the atomizer, creating a spray with a minimum level of spray´s unsteadiness. For the surveyed atomizer and his individual costruction´s variations the drawing was made.

The matter of this thesis is to find the influence of the diameter of the nozzle on the 3D printer´s print quality. The first part briefly characterizes the Rapid Prototyping technology and describes the RepRap project. The second part describes the construction of the experimental FMD 3D printer. The following section deals with technical printing parametres and their influence on the printed product. The experimental part of the thesis is focused on the impact of the discharge nozzle diameter on the mechanical properties, surface quality and shape accuracy of the final product and on the following recommendations of operational parametres.

Coulombovské interakce v elektronových svazcích / Coulomb Interactions in Electron Beams

Jánský, Pavel January 2010 (has links)
The thesis deals with numerical simulations of a hairpin thermionic electron gun, an electron source of the electron-beam welding machine. Simulations showed that the space charge in the electron gun has a significant influence on the beam current and electron trajectories. Simulation outputs are in a sufficient agreement with the experimental measurements.
