Volba vhodných řezných podmínek pro obrábění hlavňových ocelí / Prediction of suitable cutting conditions for machining of main steels

Beneš, Ondřej January 2018 (has links)
In this thesis is described machining of barrel steels and determination of the most suitable cutting conditions for this process. In the theoretical part was characterized cutting process and explained problems of VBD wear, chip formation and roughness of the surface. There were also explained most common cutting materials and in the last part were described CVD and PVD coating methods. In the experimental part was measured force load during turning. There was also tested eight carbide cutting inserts from SECO TOOLS. During the tests were measured additional surface roughness values and taken chip samples as well. From the evaluated load force data were determined optimized cutting conditions for machining barrel steels and most suitable type of cutting insert.

Obrábění těžkoobrobitelných materiálů / Machining of hard-to-machine materials

Varhaník, Matúš January 2018 (has links)
General perspective of this diploma thesis was aimed at machining of hard-to-machine materials. Theoretical part contains division and specification of these types of materials. Ways of classification and evaluation were also listed. Causes of worsened machinability were defined with the design of possible technological solutions, which eliminates these features. The main target of experimental part was turning nickel-based superalloy Inconel® 718 with the purpose of increase process productivity. Knowledge about appropriate types of cutting tool material and his coating were necessary for process optimization. It was achieved by replacing reference cutting tool material (coated carbide inserts) with SiAlON ceramic. Cutting tool edge was tested with an intention to discover appropriate deal between tool life and volume of material removed. Measured cutting forces, generated by machining of reference and optimize technology, were processed by using simulation software. Total deformation of workpiece material was statistically evaluated. The conclusion of diploma thesis is technical-economic evaluation of both options.

Návrh na zefektivnění procesu obrábění specifických komponent pneumatických válců / Efficiency improvement proposal of machining specific components of pneumatic cylinders

Židlický, Ondřej January 2019 (has links)
This Master thesis aims to increase the effectivity of the machining of pneumatic cylinders specific components. In the first chapter, the concurrent approach to the manufacture of corrosion resistant austenitic piston rod. This approach consists of the technological procedure, the analysis of the cutting tools used in the process and the cutting conditions. The machining process deals with low durability of cutting tools and the necessity of continual supervision by the operator. Therefore, an alternate design of cutting tools and cutting conditions is suggested in the next chapter. The new design has been tested in manufacture process. In the last chapter, the concurrent and the innovative approach are compared. By choosing the proper cutting tools and cutting conditions it was managed to increase the durability of cutting tools and to increase the effectivity of the whole manufacture process.

Rozbor příčin nepřesné výroby / Analysis of causes of inaccurate production

Foral, Jakub January 2020 (has links)
The topic of the Master‘s thesis focuses on NOK pieces which are produced during the production of components. NOK pieces and their rework significantly increase the company‘s costs. In the individual chapters there is an analysis of the company and the definition of a critical point. The FPY indicator was used for the analysis of the company, from which the component was identified. Three improvement concepts have been created for this component. These concepts may reduce the rate of NOK products in the company. The conclusion of the Master‘s thesis presents the evaluation and implementation of the selected change.

Návrh vřeteníku soustružnického centra / Design of spindle turning center

Krajča, Martin January 2020 (has links)
This master´s thesis deals with the design of the headstock of a turning center. The aim of the work is the design solution of turning headstock with output of about 5 kW with the possibility of positioning in the C axis. The introductory part of this thesis is focused on the descripti-on of the basic parameters of the headstock and turning centers on the market. The next part deals with choice of cutting conditions and calculation of spindle parameters. These calculations are verified using the FEM method. Based on the calculations and design requirements, a headstock model with drawing documentation is created.

Obrábění kobaltové slitiny UmCo50 / Machining of the cobalt alloy UmCo50

Prno, Peter January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the topic of machinability of materials. The theoretical part describes the aspects according to which machinability can be evaluated. The material side of the thesis is focused on various types of difficult-to-machine materials. The cobalt alloy UmCo50 belongs to the group of difficult-to-machine materials and it is the subject of the experimental part. UmCo50 is an alloy for high temperature use. The primary aim of the thesis was to monitor the wear of the selected cutting tool when turning this alloy. Other aspects of the selected machining process were also monitored, such as force effects or the quality of the machined surface. Despite the fact that machinability of tested materials cannot be expressed in terms of the absolute value of a quantity, it is necessary to compare the various aspects of the machining processes by reference materials. However, certain conditions of this comparison must be met. Based on this, a comparison of tested and reference material was performed.
