Porovnání růstových schopností dvojčat u masného plemene Aberdeen angus / The comparison of growth performance of beef breed Aberdeen Angus twins

KOCÁBEK, Jan January 2014 (has links)
Aberdeen Angus (originated in Scotland) is the second most common beef breed in the Czech Republic due to its resistance to adverse climatic events, modesty, earliness, ease of calving, low birth weight of calves and good maternal instincts of cows. The main economic indicator of suckler cows rearing is the number of born and weaned calves. Production of twins is possible way to improve these indicators. The aim of this thesis was to compare the growth potential of twins of Aberdeen Angus beef breed with individuals who were born as singletons. The work is focused on comparing the weight at birth, in 120 and 210 days of age. Most twins in the population of Aberdeen Angus breed reared in the Czech Republic in 2009-2013 was born in 2012 - 9.44 % (270 pcs.), the least in 2013 - 6.67 % (184 pcs.). The incidence of twins by birth order increased from 1 to 3 birth order (78, resp. 130, resp. 131 pcs.) as further increasing order resulted into decline of twin's incidence. The difference in weight between twins and singletons at birth was 5.81 kg, in 120 days 28.32 kg and 37.32 kg 210 days (P 0.001). Differences within twins by sex were for bulls and heifers statistically significant (P 0.001). The relationship between weight at birth and calving ease was also investigated - in the case of twins relationship was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). The lowest mortality rate of twins was in 2013 - 8.70 % (16 pcs.), the highest mortality rate was in 2012 36.67 % (99 pcs.). Most twins were born in 2011 (179 pcs.), whereas least twins were born in 2010 (160 pcs.).

Mléčná užitkovost plemene lacaune ve vybraném chovu

CHODCOVÁ, Anna January 2018 (has links)
This thesis deals with the influence of age of lacaune breed ewes on milk performance, influence of parity and influence of stage of lactation on milk performance in terms of the milk yield and the content of individual components of milk. Further was evaluated the influence of rams on milking. Data from farm Statek Horní Dvorce s.r.o. were used and data from Svaz chovatelů ovcí a koz z.s. were used too and entries from years 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, when the milk performance was monitored by method AT. The influence of rams on milking has not been fully demonstrated. For the four comparing lines, the statistically significant difference was only between LINUX and LUPIN, and only in one year of performance control over the three years compared. From the point of view of the influence of age on total milk yield in the studied farm, fat and protein content of lacaune breed increased with increasing age, whereas the lactose content showed a decreasing trend. The influence of parity had a significant effect on the monitored parameters of milk. With an increasing parity, the protein content was slightly increased, the fat and lactose content decreased. Ewes on the second lactation showed the best results in milk yield, since the third lactation was recorded in milking a decrease. The influence of stage of lactation on milking and on the content of individual components of milk was also significanted. With prolonged lactation the milk yield and lactose content were decreased. The fat and protein content has been shown to increase with the increasing of the stage of lactation.

Zkrmování celého zrna pšenice brojlerovým kuřatům

Doležalová, Nikola January 2018 (has links)
This thesis deals with monitoring the feeding of whole grain wheat to broiler chickens and evaluation of the effects of this feeding on the performance parameters of chickens and quality carcass. The monitoring also included the development of the gastrointestinal tract - weight of gizzard and proventriculus, weight of mucous membrane of gizzard, weight the of tpancreas and the length of the small intestine. Experiment was performed on 570 pcs broiler chicken of Cobb 500 hybrids in the period from 10. - 35. day of age. After 10. day of age group number 1,3,5,7,9,11 were fed a granular mixture containing the whole grain of wheat and the group number 2,4,6,8,10,12 granular mixtures as a control experiment. The chickens accepted of feed mixtures: BR2 at the age of 10. - 21. day, BR3 at age of 22. - 28. day and BR4 at age of 28. - 35. day. Into 10. day od age eat all the chickens the same feed mixture BR1. Between the control and experimental group was not statistically significant difference in live weight of chickens. Statistically significant difference wasn't between these groups in feed conversion 10. and 18. day of age. In 25. day of age was statistically significantly (P<0,05) better feed consumption for chickens in the experimental group, on average, 1520,3 g/kg, compared to the control group with the value of the feed conversion 1573,2 g/kg. At the age of 31 days was not statistically significant difference between the experimental and control group and also in 35. day of age at the end of the fattening period. There wasn‘t also statistically significant difference in weight of JUT, weight of abdominal fat, weight of gizzard, weight of mucous membrane of gizzard, weight of proventriculus and weight of pancreas. While in the evaluation of the length of the small intestine have been found conclusive statistical (P<0.05) differences between control and experimental group. In the experimental group was smaller, the length of the small intestine, in averages the males 165.5 cm and females 166,3 cm, compared to the control group, when the males had an average length of the small intestine 173,8 cm and females 169,2 cm. In the evaluation of the influence of gender on the development of the gastrointestinal tract were noted in all parts of the higher statistical conclusive differences among the males. Based on the results we can recommend the feeding of whole grain wheat as part of a compound feed without conclusive effects on performance parameters and quality carcass.

Analýza vybrané ekologické farmy

Navrátilová, Iva January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis was the analysis of organic farm AgroFyto spol. s.r.o., which deals with dairy cattle breeding and suckler cattle. In an analysis of selected indicators were evaluated for milk production, selected parameters of reproduction and meat production. The results of the system of classification of carcasses of SEUROP cattle were evaluated within the meat yield. The animals were monitored for the period 2014-2017. Values related to dairy yields and dairy reproduction were obtained from performance monitoring for 2015 and 2016. The individual years were divided into four seasons after three months. In this work was evaluated the effect meantime, the time of calving, lactation, breed and season on the amount of milk in the period, as well as the impact on the amount of milk fat and protein content of milk for the year 2015 to 2016. The analysis revealed a difference in the evidence of the effects on milk in the monitored period. Regarding the influence of milk volume on fat and protein content in milk, this effect has been demonstrated only in one of four seasons. In the analysis, the effect of the season on the amount of milk was not statistically proven. Compared to organic farm BEMAGRO a.s and foreign ecofarm, it was found that cattle on dairy farm AgroFyto spol. s.r.o. Better results in the quantity of milk in question over the reference period. Dairy Farmer FARMA ZPZ s.r.o. But they have a better milking. AgroFyto spol. s.r.o. Has a dairy with the lowest protein content in milk and the highest fat content compared to two organic farms. Compared to the overall results of the KU in the Czech Republic, AgroFyto spol. s.r.o. Lower milk yield, but higher fat in milk.

"Jen, kde pevné vůle není, jest nedostatek, prostředky jsou všekde." / "Only, where there is no strong will, there is a lack, resources are everywhere."

VOVSOVÁ, Pavla January 2012 (has links)
The thesis focuses on analysis of Robert Hildprandt's breeding program in Blatná estate in period of Czechoslovakia. The time range is influenced by the character of source-books that contains information from the years 1922-1930, eventually 1907-1935. The main sources include evidence resources, especially studbooks, milk yield tests, register of calves or breeding index and preserved correspondence of the estate. According to these sources is characterized the breeding of black-piabald lowland cattle, performance testing and results of breeding program. The evolution of the breeding herd in Blatná estate is compared with both general rules of breeding in Czechoslovak era and other development of different breeds and other regions. On the basis of studbooks, there is also elaborated historical-antropological analysis of names and describtions of individual animals.
