Studium forem a izotopového složení Pb ve vzorcích uhlí na vybraném profilu z Mostecké pánve / Speciation and isotopic composition of lead in coal samples from selected profile of the Most BasinSemíková, Hana January 2010 (has links)
Coal is one of the major energy sources in the world and contains most of the elements from the periodic table. During combustion of coal these elements are released and redistributed. This may lead to environmental problems. Some of these elements are considered to be very dangerous for human and animal health and ecosystems. The knowledge of concentration and speciation of elements in coal is important for the prevention of the adverse environmental phenomena associated with the use of coal. One of the hazardous elements in coal is lead. The purpose of this work is to determine the concentration of lead and its isotopic composition simultaneously with determining the speciation of lead in coal. The ICP-MS method was used to determine the concentration and isotope ratios of lead. A total of 62 samples of subbituminous coal was analyzed. The method of selective extraction analysis BCR was used on 9 samples of subbitumnious coal to identify the speciation of lead in coal. Lead concentrations in coal were measured in the range of 0.25 to 78.84 mg·kg-1 . These concentrations correspond to the average concentrations of lead in most of the coals. Isotope ratio 206 Pb/207 Pb in coal samples ranged from 1.169 to 1.219. Isotopic 208 Pb/206 Pb ratio was measured in the interval 2.047 to 2.093. The isotopic...

Vliv toxicity a ostatních vlastností výsypkových substrátů na růst rostlin / The effect of toxicity and othet parameters of substrate on plant growth in post mining sites.Zadinová, Radka January 2013 (has links)
Surface mining of coal in the country leaves a lot of damage. This type of mining is characterized by the creation of large external dumps. The dumps often contain substrates with toxic substances or substances which become toxic after reaction with air. These substrates are toxic to plants and edaphon. This work is intended to show what properties of substrates are important for phytotoxicity. The location of research was selected including 3 different kinds of substrates, terrain unevenness and a lagoon in the middle. Coordinate grid has been created on the selected location. At each point a test was conducted with plant Sinapis alba and biomass was extracted from a naturally growing vegetation. Further, at the points substrates were collected and values of pH, conductivity and arsenic were measured. Test with plant Sinapis alba was repeated in the laboratory conditions as well. On site GPS coordinates were measured for the mathematical model created in ArcGIS. Experiment has shown the importance of the type of substrate and the geologic description, and then the association between dejection, value of pH and conductivity. Conductivity and pH levels also correlate with the germination Sinapis alba and biomass of naturally growing vegetation.

Investice do energetických komoditStrouhalová, Šárka January 2015 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with energy commodities investments. The content of thesis is trough analysis of markets to identify key factors affecting supply, demand and prices of energy commodities. By correlation analysis examines the relationships between energy commodities, stocks and the business cycle. Processing time series models create predictions of energy commodities prices. Using the Value at Risk method to quantify the risk, which investor has to accept in the case of investing in energy commodities. In conclusion, based on the results obtained, formulates investment recommendation.

Geocaching v Ostravsko-Karvinském revíruKovářová, Alena January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with proposal of geocaching oriented educational trails in Ostrava-Karvina region on which stops are placed already existing caches or suggestions of their placement. Given that coal mining has more than two hundred year long tradition in this area, every stop on trails with caches are mining oriented. Basic problematic concerning this topic is outlined in literature overview while the research part of this thesis is focused on draft of 4 different educational trails with mining theme consisting either thorough description of already existing caches or newly designed ones. Research part also contains a questionnaire given to active cachers which aim was to determine the interest in said trails and their overall potential. Lastly the research part was complemented by guided interview with experienced cacher. In conclusion of the thesis are formulated drafts for utilization of these educational trails.

Energetické využití odpadů / Energy utilization of wastesHavlas, David January 2016 (has links)
This thesis is conceived as a comprehensive document about energy utilization of waste in appropriate facilities. In the first part, the thesis deals with the issue of waste production and disposal with it. Subsequently, for the introduction to the topic of Waste to Energy, is chronologically described history of energy utilization of waste in Czech Republic and also the technology of facilities, where the combustion with subsequent utilization of energy occurs. Thesis likewise contains a list of currently operating WTE plants and information about future projects for their construction in the Czech Republic. As a crucial part, is considered the assessment of WTE plants, both in terms of the impact on saving fossil fuels, and in terms of potential impact on the environment. The conclusion brings economical evaluation, which is focused on the economic efficiency of investment into these facilities.

Historický a budoucí vývoj vodních prvků v těžbou dotčeném území Severočeské hnědouhelné pánve. / Historical and future development of water features on sites affeted by mining in North-West Bohemia braun coal basin.Vodrážka, Václav January 2016 (has links)
The work is focused on the development of water bodies in the area disturbed by lignite mining in the North Bohemian brown coal basin and Sokolov. In the last century there was destruction of the landscape and thus the disturbance of the water régime due to lignite mining. The transition from underground mining to surface mining of lignite caused the extinction of villages, roads, railways, land and greenery. Water surfaces are dried and water streams converted into new artificial troughs. Currently people try to cover up the consequences of interference with the natural landscape by restoration, creation and environmental protection. This effort is realized through land reclamation. Addressed are primarily water reclamation, evaluation of water components changes in different time periods in the and significance of these changes for the landscape, which we are going to leave to future generations.

Energetická koncepce ČR -- uhlí jako nejvýznamnější domácí energetický zdroj / Energy Conception of Czech Republic - coal as the most important domestic energy resourceLepeltová, Radka January 2008 (has links)
The state energy conception sets the direction in energy industry and outlines main instruments and trends in this area. The priority of the state energy conception is to reach energy security of the country, which can be ensured by more energy resources of the fuel mix. The main component of the domestic energy mix is brown coal, which is mostly used in brown coal electric works for generating electric energy and heat. Coal mining is and was one of the main elements of Czech Republic's national industry, but there are also negative ecological impacts connected with coal winning. Further coal mining is restricted by so-called territorial ecological limits for brown coal mining that protect the environment and community against the mining consequences. Many of the brown coal supplies can, however, also in future represent an important energy resource, which will enable security, production independence and price availability of energy. At work is further explanation of the limits and progress of breaking the limits. Other energy resources are nuclear energy and renewable energy resources, whose importance rises and which contribute to a balanced energy mix.
