Dobrovolná skromnost: Druhá generace / Voluntary simplicity and second generation

Starting point. Voluntary simplicity is a form of lifestyle. Its typical feature is selection intensity in all areas of human life. Severity of voluntary simplicity lies in self-control of consumer behavior in the daily confrontation with the media pressure, which is oriented at a high rate of consumption. The task of this thesis was to find out if people raised in voluntarily simple families keep living this way, or if they turned away from this lifestyle and joined the high consumption society. Methods and results. Research included 40 respondents who met the requirement that voluntary simplicity was part of their upbringing. Addressed were people from alternatively living groups (preppers, ecovillages, macrobiotics, minimalists, forums dedicated to maternal education and child care, and other groups possessing forums on an alternative way of life of voluntary simplicity). The investigation was conducted by a questionnaire which was distributed electronically among respondents. We found that 13 out of 40 respondents (32,5 %) fully met our stated profile of voluntary simplicity. Relative frequency of responses from all respondents that meet the requirements of modest behavior amounted to 74,3 %. Title: Emotional reactions of young people to school physical education Objectives: The main objective of this work is to determine and compare the emotional reactions of pupils during the sport lessons on secondary schools. We focus on the seventh and eighth graders, boys and girls at the age from twelve to fourteen. The goal is to statistically process and compare the results between the genders and between schools in urban and rural areas. Determine the reliability and internal consistency of the items from the individual factors in the selected DEMOR questionnaire. Evaluate the determined data in synoptic tables and graphs. Methods: The method of questioning was used in this work. To meet the objectives we analysed the responses obtained from the DEMOR questionnaire. Through this survey, it is possible to record the emotional reactions of the pupils and their perceptions of experiences they had to get information about the climate during physical education lessons. The survey was conducted on twelve secondary schools in rural and urban areas in the Karlovy Vary region. Results: The results indicate that, positive feelings prevail in current physical education classes. Master thesis "Public television as an educational and informational medium, analysis of the program ČT Déčko" is aiming at upbringing and education targeted at children and youth, which is offered to its viewers by Czech television as a public media. Upbringing and educational influence is often ascribed to public media in relation to public media definition itself. Educational effect of Czech television is prescribed by a law and is also part of Czech television's Code, especially aiming at children and youth. Primary goal of this thesis is to map how is the Czech television approaching its own requirement in relation with start of children aimed ČT Déčko program. First part of this work is trying to define very basic concepts, like childhood, uprising and education in historic, sociologic and media context. It is describing idea of childhood, offers possible ways to educational and uprising potential of television broadcasting as itself. It is also mapping tradition of broadcasting for children and youth, program types, which can be identified in today's broadcasting. The thesis deals with the use of musical educational games in teaching music theory. The theoretical part explains some general concepts such as game, activation, or the child's personality. Text is based on the history of education, highlighting the views of famous philosophers, doctors, teachers, psychologists and other thinkers, who focused on child's play and the personality of the child. This part of the thesis also presents ways how to work with music playing in the singing, listening, instrumental and musical movement activities, according to some contemporary music teachers. The research focuses on experimental teaching with application of games with music theory, which were specially developed by the author. The research subject is the student and his involvement in activities that help with music theory teaching. Title: Intermission of the game on the grounds of breaking the rules in young-junior boys categories. Objectives: This diploma thesis aims to find out intervals of the game and intervals of the intermission of the game in young-junior basketball and youth boys basketball matches, and to compare the detected data. The other aim is to discover the reasons leading to the intermission of the game of each catogory during these matches. Methods: As a research method, the method of observation of the video recordings of youth basketball and young-junior basketball matches from the website tvcom.cz was chosen. Using the basic statistic and arithmetic methods, the measured data were processed statistically and, consequently, graphically also. Results: It was discovered that children playing the young-junior basketball have the shortest average interval of the continuous game in all studied categories and that this interval is shorter than the interval of the average duration of the intermission of the game during young-junior basketball matches. The most frequent reason for the intermission of the game in all categories is a personal foul of the player and a ball, or a player with a ball out of bonds. The aim of this diploma thesis is possibility how to implement Health education into the educational chemistry lessons at the primary school. Especially it deals with the different ways of implemention of chosen issues from Health education (nutrition issues - fats, saccharides and proteins) into the organic chemistry lessons in 9th grade of primary school. The main document used for this purpose is "Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education 2013". The primary aim of this thesis is to find the options and reasons of implementation of Health education into the other educational fields. The secondary aim is to find the key content connected between the field of Health education and the Chemistry. The third one is to clarify the possibility how to implement the educational discipline Health education into the field of Chemistry that is taught as a separate subject. Title: Integration of pupil with epidermolysis bullosa dystrophica disease with special focus on physical education into the primary school education. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to point out possibilities of pupil's integration with corporal defect, concretely epidermolysis bullosa dystrophica into primary school education with special focus on Physical education through case study. Methods: We have used case study, questionnaire and interview methods because of uniqueness of occurrence this disease in primary school. The main case study is focused on pupil with EBD disease. The partial research is focused on classmates, teachers, teacher's assistant and girl's family. Results: Results have shown us the only partly possibility to integrate pupil with EBD disease into PE. The most suitable period of time was 1 - 3 school year. The research has shown girl's fitting in class and also her good feelings there. In generally we can say, that pupil is well perceived by classmates and teachers. There is very important teacher's and assistant's activity. The class teacher promoted positive, peaceful and friendly atmosphere since first year a thanks to her the class functions as a whole now. This thesis deals with the integration of the topic of personality and social education into the Czech language lessons taught in classes on the second grade of basic schools and in grammar schools. The first part introduces personality and social education and its particular topics. Then the ways of working with these topics during Czech language lessons are described, and also the activities that can be used by a teacher to include personality and social education into Czech language lessons. One chapter is dedicated to description of E-U-R model and its applicable methods. In practical part the survey among Czech language teachers, which focuses on the attitude of teachers towards personality and social education and their experience with integrating this topic, is described. Also there is a survey that focuses on familiarity of Czech language students with this topic. The survey is carried out by the method of semi-structured interview. The results are commented and projected into theoretical part of the thesis.

Výuka florbalu na druhém stupni základní školy / Floorball teaching at secondary school

Floorball has gained a lot of popularity recently, mostly owing to its simplicity and affordability. In the Czech Republic, floorball is taught at a majority of school, but its rapid development and lower public awareness might negatively influence a teaching quality of this sport. The thesis aims to analyse possibilities of floorball teaching at secondary schools and assess an attitude of pupils and teachers to it, including an analysis of pupil's knowledge of floorball rules. Considering these findings, floorball teaching model was proposed, practically tested and its benefits was evaluated. 652 pupil's and 19 teacher's questionnaires from 11 secondary school located in Prague was used. Experimental floorball teaching was realized at ZŠ Bohumila Hrabala, where was tested on 2 groups, while other 2 groups were regarded as a control sample. An efficiency of proposed floorball teaching model was evaluated based on a set of proficiency tests that were undertaken in the beginning and at the end of floorball teaching. It was found out that floorball equipment is sufficient at the 64% of examined schools, but dimensions of their gyms are inadequate. The thesis aims to find out the general public's views on raising children within the family, and to compare it with selected psychological research. The theoretical part is a review of several studies over recent years dealing with a child's upbringing in a family, selected so as to reflect the views of the general public, specifically parents, and responds to these themes from a professional point of view. The empirical part attempts to explore the values, attitudes, and opinions of parents on key educational situations, using a questionnaire method. The thesis investigates current trends among parents' child-rearing methods within the Czech Republic, and compares them with the current findings of modern psychological research on education in the family.
