This thesis analyzes implementation of support for rural tourism and agritourism in Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is evaluation of existing financial support of rural tourism and agritourism in LAU 2 units (municipalities) from Rural Development Programme and Regional Operational Programmes. Theoretical part regards rural development in context of Common Agricultural Policy, and tourism, which is one of the factor of development in rural areas. Practical part evaluates subsidies to rural tourism and agritourism and their micro-regional allocation by categories of projects, like accomodation and catering, sport, multifunctional, and other facilities and trails. Primary data are received from the State Agricultural Intervention Fund and internet portal risy.cz. In this thesis descriptive, comparative, analytical and statistical methods are used.

The thesis deals with the potential use of the family farm for agro-tourism. The family farm is located in the region of South Bohemia. Therefore there is assessment of the potential of this region for tourism and for agro-tourism. It is also described how the property could be used for the needs of accommodation services. The last but not least is an analysis of the nearest competitors. For the overall evaluation is used method of the SWOT analysis.

The master's thesis deals with drawing up a rural tourism business plan for the establishment of a family business. This business connects providing services within the rural family pension with an agricultural production. The aim of the thesis is to design the business plan on the basis of analysis, plans and risk assessment as decision support tool for future realization.

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the support of rural tourism from the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 in four chosen regions - Plzeň Region, Karlovy Vary, Ústí nad Labem and Liberec Region. The theoretical part of the thesis includes the literature research concerning the issue of rural tourism, rural areas and discusses the importance of this specific form of tourism for rural development and its application, especially with regard to the analyzed territory and its natural and cultural-historical potential for the development of various forms of tourism. The next part of the thesis deals with the financial support of tourism through the European funds, with an emphasis on the Rural Development Program and its conditions, followed by the detailed analysis of the projects supported by Rural Development Programme 2007-2013, measure III. 1.3. The main objective of this part is to evaluate the projects in relation to rural tourism and to find answers to the questions whether the support was concentrated in tourist attractive areas or how the projects utilize the natural-cultural attractions of the given area. It also includes a more detailed assessment of the support of agritourism, eco-agritourism and hipotourism as specific forms of rural tourism.

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the rural tourism development through LEADER methods, especially by the local action groups. The rate of support was analyzed in the territory of 18 selected local action groups according to their tourist attendance. The theoretical part includes literary research, which explains the relevant concepts of rural development and development of the area through tourism, namely rural tourism, the possibilities of supporting the development of rural and rural tourism through subsidy programs, especially the Rural Development Program, Functioning of LEADER methods and local action groups, which are the crucial topic of the presented work. The following chapter introduces selected local action groups based on their tourist attractiveness and the inclusion of tourism support in the strategic plan of the each LAG. The major eighth chapter discusses in the detail projects supported by the LAG, which are further classified according to their nature and sorted according to whether they have the ideologies of rural tourism or not. The aim of the thesis is to find out which categories of LAG, according to the tourist ballast, most strongly implement projects supporting the development of rural tourism in the region. The final chapter deals with the evaluation of the support of implemented projects supporting the rural tourism in the current programming period 2014-2020.

This thesis oversees the possibility of employment for people with disabilities in the rural region. It introduces specific employment opportunities for people with disabilities in the Chrudim region. It takes into account the perspective of potential employers in the region. While also identifying specific barriers and fears of employers, when they are determining whether or not to employ people with disabilities. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is devoted to: describing people with disabilities, the importance of work in human life, the issue of unemployment, the characteristics of the Chrudim region, and employment opportunities for people with disabilities. In the practical part quantitative research strategies are used and in this particular case, it involved the use of questionnaires. Questionnaires were sent to random employers in the area in the hopes of finding clear and unbiased results. Annotation: The topic of the diploma work is the communication strategy for a new complex rural tourism product for the Czech Republic "Holidays in the Countryside". Objective: Main objective of my work is to elaborate a suitable marketing communication strategy for Holidays in the Countryside product. The strategy will then be used by the Union for Rural Tourism (Svaz venkovské turistiky), which is the project promoter, as a practical marketing tool. Secondary objective of the work is to evaluate current utilization of brand program Holidays in the Countryside by the rural tourism service providers. Method: Analysis of accessible information, comparative study of foreign tourist destination experiece and professional publications followed by the synthesis of acquired data will be used as a method for elaboration of this work. Based on the analyses a suitable communication strategy will be formulated along with the recommendations for the effective utilization of the brand program by the service providers.

The main objective of master thesis was to compare the potential of tourism in two rural communities in the Klatovy region. The theoretical part explains the concepts of literature related to rural tourism and tourism outlined in the Pilsen district. The practical part was to compare the objective data of selected municipalities and survey focused on the views of the population on tourism and business in their village. Based on empirical field research were identified attitudes and opinions of individual categories of respondents and established recommendations for the decision-making system.

The main objective of the master thesis was to compare municipalities within the Telč region from the perspective of rural tourism. The comparison was based on historical, sociodemographic and geographic description and analysis of their potential for tourism, including analysis of opinions of selected subjects towards tourism and its development. In the theoretical part, basic concepts of tourism or rural tourism were characterized, based on the review of pertinent professional literature. In the next section, the Telč region was characterized in terms of particular tourism-related factors, i.e. localization, selective and implementation factors. The characteristic consisted in comparing the objective data of the municipalities studied. Evaluation of tourism potential of the Telč region was based on evaluation of the factors and on the survey that addressed representatives of the municipalities with the aim to acquire their opinions on tourism and all components of tourism infrastructure.

The diploma thesis deals with the creation of a business concept to diversify the activities of a private farmer, operating in the region Pisecko, to the field of tourism, specifically to the agrotourism. At first, the surveyed area, accessibility, attractiveness and competitiveness were analyzed using secondary sources. In addition, primary sources were obtained with the help of a guided interview with the owner of a farm and a questionnaire survey conducted in travel agencies, tour operators and tourist information centers. Based on all the findings, the business concept of Jihočeské království was assembled. It includes a structural and technical solution, all services and the way of running the whole business, staffing and last but not least, the financial plan that demonstrates the viability of the project.
