Tobulėjant naujosioms technologijoms buvo sukurtos verslo valdymo sistemos (VVS). Su jų atsiradimu gamybos pramonė buvo pakylėta į aukštumas, kokių dar niekad nebuvo pasiekusi. Tačiau taip kardinaliai keičiantis technologijoms organizacijos privalo „sekti paskui jas“, jeigu nori išlikti konkurencingos. Vis dėlto VVS diegimas yra ganėtinai sudėtingas, o ir nuspręsti kokią sistemą diegtis yra dar sudėtingiau. Daugelis diegimo projektų žlugo dėl to, kad buvo nepilnai atlikta poreikių analizė, dėl darbuotojų motyvacijos ir atsidavimo ar dėl neteisingos VVS pasirinkimo. Šiame darbe bus apžvelgtos pagrindinės diegimo, pasirinkimo ir darbo su VVS problemos. Bus atlikta pasirinktų VVS palyginamoji analizė pagal nustatytus kriterijus ir sukurtas VVS koncepcinis modelis. / The title of this work is „A comparison of Enterprise recourse planning systems“. This study has identified a problematic lack of knowledge regarding how companies identify their system needs and choose appropriate software vendors and products for one of their most significant areas of operation. The primary purpose of this study was to compare most known ERP systems ant develop ERP system, which will be suitable for Lithuanian market. Starting from the question which opportunities a company has to support its processes with IT, the advantages of flexible systems are elaborated. Besides the focus on flexibility, I reviewed and evaluated key software features that directly impact the ownership experience of enterprise applications. Some of these feature sets included: advanced data loading and moving during the implementation phase, task-oriented navigation for the usability phase, and user-centric performance testing for the maintenance phase. The resulting study provides a comparative, multi-vendor assessment across the three major phases of the application lifecycle: implementation, application usage, and ongoing support and maintenance. Šiame darbe bus išanalizuoti pagrindiniai verslo valdymo sistemų diegimo modeliai ir apibendrintos jų charakteristikos. Darbo tikslas - apibendrinti esamus verslo valdymo sistemų diegimo modelius, tam kad jų diegimas taptų paprastesnis ir būtų sumažinta nesėkmingo adaptavimo rizika. Taip pat reikalinga pasiūlyti verslo valdymo sistemų diegimo metodiką, kurią būtų galima pritaikyti diegiant tokias sistemas. Diegiant ERP sistemas dažnai susiduriama su įvairiomis diegimo problemomis ir sunkumais. Pagrindinė jų - neteisingas sistemos integravimas ir adaptavimas prie konkretaus vartotojo poreikių, todėl reikalinga metodika padedanti šį procesą įvykdyti sklandžiai ir nepriekaištingai. / In this job the methods of Enterprise Resource Planning implementation and problems associated with a particular case of their adjustment are analyzed. The characteristics of these methods are summarized here. The most usable methods of Enterprise Resource Panning implementation are described here. The purpose of this job is to offer the optimum implementation method of Enterprise Resource Planning systems. Also it is necessary to generalize the main existing ERP implementation methods thereto its installation will be simpler and unfortunate adaptation risk will be reducing to the minimum.

Magistro darbo objektas – verslo valdymo sistemos diegimas. Darbo tikslas – nustatyti verslo valdymo sistemų diegimo pagrindinius sėkmės faktorius atskiruose diegimo etapuose įmonėms Lietuvoje ir pateikti pasiūlymus didesnei VVS diegimo sėkmei užtikrinti. Pagrindiniai darbo uždaviniai: teoriškai išanalizuoti įmonės veiklą, išskirti ir apibrėžti jos funkcines sritis bei verslo procesus, išnagrinėti tarpusavio ryšius; išnagrinėti bendrus verslo valdymo sistemų bruožus, jų atsiradimo priežastis, raidą, išskirti pagrindinius diegimo etapus bei metodikas; apžvelgti Lietuvoje naudojamų verslo valdymo sistemų rinką; identifikuoti ir išnagrinėti pagrindinius mokslinėje literatūroje minimus VVS diegimo sėkmę lemiančius faktorius; kokybinio tyrimo būdu atlikti kritinių sėkmės faktorių analizę Lietuvos įmonėse; pateikti pasiūlymus VVS diegiančioms įmonėms didesnei diegimo sėkmei užtikrinti. Verslo valdymo sistemos diegimas yra pripažįstamas kaip problemiškas laiko ir biudžeto paskirstymo atžvilgiu. Šių sistemų diegimai yra sunkiau valdomi nei kiti IT projektai. Yra atlikta daug tyrimų, analizuojančių kritinius sėkmės faktorius verslo valdymo sistemos diegime. Vis dėlto dauguma tyrimų nagrinėjančių kritinius sėkmės faktorius apsiriboja pačių faktorių identifikavimu, o ne jų pritaikymu konkrečiam etapui ar tarpusavio ryšiais. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The enterprise resource planning (ERP) movement has been gathering momentum for the best part of ten years and has now reached a global dimension, with companies across the world and, more importantly, across very different industries jumping on the ERP band wagon. ERP systems are integrated enterprise-wide software packages that uses a modular structure to support a broad spectrum of key operational areas of the organization. They are widely acknowledged as having the potential to radically change existing businesses by bringing imporements in efficiency and the implementation of optimized business processes. ERP systems link together an organization's strategy, structure, and business processes with IT system. Although the technical risk from developing software is considerably reduced, risk during implementation is associated with aligning the processes with those of the software package and the corresponding change management and software configuration issues.
