The Aspects of Tourism Attractiveness: Case Study Lipno nad Vltavou Abstract: The village Lipno nad Vltavou is becoming one of the most progressively growing tourist destinations in the Czechia. It's a destination with a great potential for tourism development but it has been greatly suppressed due to the previous political system. Nowadays, the destination prosper again and its radical development can be seen in changes of functional land use, changing the composition of the offered services or the attitude of residents. This thesis should clarify if the destination is still for visitors an attractive tourist destination or it is already affected by tourism so much that it occurs to losing some visitors. key words: attractiveness, tourism, Lipno nad Vltavou

In my diploma thesis I have mainly focused on the transferred authority - it is that agenda which was delegated by the state. By this way I have extended my bachelor thesis where I especially wrote about the separate authority of the area and the elections for the local authority. I have pointed out the related problems, as the questions of finance and cooperation on particular levels of the civil service. In the beginning of my thesis I have engaged the theoretical part about the origins of the local and district administration, the development of the political administration and finally I have engaged some biograms about the famous representatives of the area. The next main part of my thesis is dedicated to the laws that were issued for the area in provincial and of the empire codes of law. Then I have completed the elections to the local school council and to the particular departments of the local authority. I have mainly derived from the methods of the school in Brno which is leaded by Lukáš Fasora, Jiří Malíř and Jiří Hanuš.

The main objective of thesis is to empirically assess the level of social capital in relation to the development of the city. First, the thesis discusses the theoretical framing of the concept of social capital; it also deals with the topic of regional development and its conditionality, including the issue of the development of small and medium-sized towns. The second part is devoted to a quantitative analysis of social capital and regional development in all Czech small and medium-sized towns. The last part presents detailed qualitative research on social capital, specifically the results of case studies observed at the level of comparable towns Týn nad Vltavou and Třeboň. In these case studies, key equalities and differences of social capital in connection with the formation of the city were identified. We also confirm the importance of social capital as one of many factors that determines the territorial development. The diploma thesis provides comprehensive insight into the individual types of services of tourism. The main goal is evaluation of the quality of provided tourism services in the selected locality Hluboka nad Vltavou. In the theoretical part the concept associated with areas of tourism, services, marketing mix, quality and instruments of strategic marketing environment. In the practical part it was made detailed analysis of accommodation services, catering services, cultural services, sports services, sport and relaxation services and complementary services. In the practical part are also evaluated results of a research, which main aim was find out the satisfaction of tourism participant with a quality, level and range of tourism services, which are provided in the locality. The visitor's opinion on opportunities of cultural and sport activities is also very important. Attention was focused on the local and foreign participants of tourism in this direction. Based on the gained information and results of marketing research, the last section contains appropriate suggestions.

This thesis deals with the issue of the formation of local authotrities in the municipality of Libčice nad Vltavou. The thesis is divided into theoretical and analytical parts and it is conceived as a case study. The theoretical part focuses on explaining the basic concepts of local politics and election. Further explanation of the terms used in the analytical part. The analytical part focuses on the city Libčice nad Vltavou. First is describes the history of the city, defined territory and population demographics and amenities. Furthermore the thesis deals with a various political actors in Libčice nad Vltavou, the election results from the year 1994 - 2014 and electoral support in individual election districts in the last two election. Attention is also paid to the creation of local party system and the continuity of candidacy. A detailed research of the election results from the years 1994 - 2014 characterized by the development of the local party system and voting behavior. Using semi-standardized interviews with representatives of local political parties, former actor of political life in the city and employees of the municipal office then is identified and formed a local cleavages that have Influence on the formation of local government, and then based on these interviews identified factors influencing the compilation of coalitions.

The aim of this Diploma Thesis is the elaboration of a study concerning the project for the reconstruction of the historical building of a granary in Hluboká nad Vltavou into an amusement park. The theoretical base of the thesis deals with the importance of the tourism at the national and regional levels where the contemporary situation of the Southern Bohemian Region is described in a more detailed way. A part of the thesis includes selected examples of local and foreign case studies dealing with similar projects like the planned project of an amusement park and it also corresponds with the contemporary market trends. The main practical part of the thesis deals with the design of the reconstruction of the historical building of a granary in Hluboká nad Vltavou into an amusement park. The purpose of the thesis is not the procession of a realistic project including all parts thereof but a study offering the solutions how to use the building in connection with the strategic planning document of the town Hluboká nad Vltavou as well as the Southern Bohemian Region. The practical part includes the description of the project of the granary, including the design, basic economic analysis and possibilities of the marketing communication. The technical documentation of the building is a part of attachments.

The topic of this diploma thesis is the suburban landscape, place and space of the Vrané nad Vltavou municipality located in close proximity to the capital city of Prague. The author approaches the suburban landscape as a specific type of landscape, which combines elements of urban and rural character. The author describes the manifestations of this landscape liminality using ethnographic methods and demonstrates the diversity of spatial structures with her own visual documentation, together with a depiction of the specificity of not only the researched landscape, but also the specificity of the suburb itself in the Czech context. Through the concept of the landscape applied in the socio-anthropological discourse, the author connects the material aspects of the natural environment with the social level of ideas, feelings, and experiences that everyone forms in contact with the landscape. In this sense, the landscape is never finished and neutral, but on the contrary, it is constantly negotiated and confirmed in the daily interactions of human and the landscape. The same holds true of the landscape, which is the subject of suburbanization processes changing its character. The aim of my diploma thesis was based on evaluation of the offer of tourism services in towns Hluboka nad Vltavou and Trhove Sviny and their comparison with the wiew of contribution of tourism for the municipality and its budget. In the thesis there an offer of the tourism services is mapped, the impact of tourism on municipal budgets is analyzed and the tourism multiplier in both municipalities is set. As the output of the thesis is recomended to set a position of destination manager in Hluboka nad Vltavou, a position of project manager in Trhove Sviny and another minor remedies headed towards tourism develoment in Trhové Sviny.

At the beginning of my thesis, the risk of floods in the territory of the Czech Republic is generally characterized which is followed by basic legal documents governing flood protection. The characteristics of the territory on which this thesis focuses is presented in the next section, which is describes in detail the administrative district of the municipality with extended powers (MEP) of Týn nad Vltavou, the basic description of its hydrological basin and waterways and, of course, the flood profile of the individual municipalities. The following section explains the term of flood, classification of floods and a detailed description of flood risks within detail the administrative district of the MEP of Týn nad Vltavou emphasizing the risk of formation a special flood. This is followed a list of complex activities and measures aimed at preventing and eliminating the threats to the health, lives and property of the citizens, society and the environment during floods. It also discusses planning in the field of flood protection and the classification of flood plans. Emphasis is placed on the documentation of flood protection of the administrative district of the MEP of Týn nad Vltavou that is associated with the activities of flood protection authorities. The section discusses in detail their activities during floods as well as when there are no floods. The function of flood committee of the MEP Týn nad Vltavou is mentioned detailing the description of activities of its individual members. The objectives of this thesis were aimed at finding out about the level of prepared flood protection documentation processed, analysing the activities of flood protection authorities and examining their knowledge about the issue of flooding. All the objectives were directed to the administrative district of the MEP Týn nad Vltavou and its flood protection authorities. Through a sociological survey among the flood protection authorities of the administrative district of the MEP Týn nad Vltavou that was conducted in the form of an anonymous questionnaire testing their knowledge in the field of flood protection. The results obtained were subjected to statistical evaluation, which, together with graphical representation, is of part of the thesis.
