Inovace systému pro automatizované integrační testy elektronických jednotek vozidel / Inovation of System for Automated Integrational ECU Tests

This master's thesis deals with the issue of software tools for automated integrational ECU testing. It is specifically focused on TestAut 2 tool, which is developed by e4t company and used for testing of Skoda cars. Goal of this thesis is comparison of TestAut 2 against similar tools used in automotive industry. This work contains analysis of TestAut 2 tooland description of principles and features of EXAM, MODENA and PROVEtech tools. Set of principles considerd as advantageous is chosen from collected information. Next part of this thesis describes implementation of chosen principles to TestAut 2 tool, verification ofit's functionality and evaluation of it's benefits. In the conclusion author suggests another improvements that can be done.

Analýza vlivu polohy karoserie závodního vozu na aerodynamické charakteritiky / Analysis of the influence of body position on the car's aerodynamic characteristics

Aim of this diploma thesis is to make sensitivity research concerning influence of vehicle body position on its aerodynamical loading. CAD model was created in Pro/E software. Formula Ford 1600 chassis and vehicle body dimensions were used as a pattern for CAD model. Then this model was imported into CFD environment where ambient medium characteristic were set up. FLUENT software performed calculations and measurement of aerodynamical characteristics of vehicle dependent on height and angle of chassis.

Návrh souboru zařízení pro seřízení podvozku závodního automobilu / Design of alignment and chassis setup equipment

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem zařízení pro měření parametrů podvozku závodního vozidla (sbíhavost/rozbíhavost, příklon/odklon, světlá výška vozu, rozložení hmotnosti), které následně slouží pro jeho seřízení. Úvodní teoretická část uvádí přehled nejdůležitějších parametrů podvozku, které mají podstatný vliv na chování a ovladatelnost vozu a které jsou tak nejčastěji předmětem zájmu. Následující kapitola shrnuje metody a zařízení, které se dnes pro měření parametrů podvozku využívají a uvádí jejich výhody a nevýhody. Předposlední kapitola teoretické části je věnována obecným doporučením pro měření parametrů podvozku vozidla a jeho seřizování. Poslední kapitola teoretické části uvádí požadavky na zařízení, jehož návrh je předmětem této práce. Úvod praktické části práce je věnován popisu konstrukce dvou navržených variant pro měření parametrů podvozku vozidla. Následující kapitola pak popisuje přípravu a průběh měření s využitím navržených souborů zařízení. Další kapitola je věnována výběru snímačů a zařízení pro měření. Závěr této kapitoly pak shrnuje přibližné celkové náklady na výrobu obou navržených variant. Poslední kapitolou je napěťová a deformační analýza navržené podpěry automobilu, která podepírá automobil namísto jeho kol. Závěr diplomové práce shrnuje dosažené cíle a zároveň uvádí návrhy a doporučení dalšího vývoje navržených zařízení.

This thesis analyses company according to analytics methods taught during the study, most important is The Strategic analysis. Results of the analysis part reveals a weak spot – absence of utility vehicles, which are offered by company’s foreign offices also by local competitors. Method of minimal costs was used for developing and presenting one specific solution to eliminate the weak spot.

Studie příčného rychlostního pole v blízkosti rotujícího kola s uvažováním vlivu nucené konvekce kotoučové brzdy / Study of transverse velocity field in the vicinity of rotating wheel with assumption of forced convection of disc brake

The master thesis deals with the influence of a local change of temperature due to advection from disc brake to axial velocity field close to the rotating wheel of a car. The second goal is to set parameters applicable to various wheel discs and study of the influence of these parameters to aerodynamical properties of car and thermodynamical properties of the disc brake. The thesis is numerically executed in StarCCM+. The first part focuses on theoretical background about the numerical solution and current status of research. There are described disc parameters, geometry input and solver settings in the second part. The final part deals with a comparison of velocity fields for isothermal and thermodynamical model and evaluates the influence of parameters to velocity field, aerodynamical drag and thermodynamical performance of the brake.

This diploma thesis deal with conceptual design of racing car of T1 category. Car consist of tubular frame, front and rear double wishbone suspension, braking system and conceptual design of the fairing. These are the basic of this thesis. For the completeness of the design, the location of the crew and the placement of the components inside the frame are also proposed. Adams Car 2016, Autodesk Inventor 2016, Ansys Workbench 18.1 were used for designing, testing, simulation and calculations. Designed T1 category race car meets International Automobile Federation (FIA) technical standards and safety regulatons.

Porovnání hlučnosti stranových vyústek odlišných konstrukcí / Comparison of noise generated by differently constructed vents

This diploma thesis deals with comparing noise levels of three side vents of different constructions, which are used for distribution and directing of ventilation air in a cabin of an automobile. The fundamental knowledge of the physical and physiological acoustics is described in the introduction part of this study. Following the introduction part there is a brief explanation of the car air conditioning system (HVAC system) as well as are explained the acoustic properties of specific elements of this system. The study also deals with dividing ventilation vents and describes the vast traceable types of automobile vents. Prior to the description of the experiment, which was conducted as a part of this study, the procedures and results of the measurements carried out in other theses are explained. Measurement of noise levels of the compared vents was carried out in a semi-anechoic chamber under the ČSN ISO 3475 standardization. To clarify increase of noise generated by the vent in an interior of an automobile, additional measurement of noise was carried out in a cabin of Porsche Cayenne 2018. From the gathered results we can conclude that under the constant flow, (of 60 square meters per hour) louder vents are those with higher pressure loss. This pressure loss is dependant primarily on the speed of the flow in the vent, as well as on the number and the adjustment of the deflectors. In a cabin of an automobile, the noise produced by the vent is negligible in comparison with total noise in an interior of a car. However, in the area surrounding the air flowing out from the vent, (approximately 0,7 meters from it) the level of acoustic pressure increases significantly.

The diploma work focuses on the proposal of formula car support frame type alternative designed for international students´ competition Formula Student. As a first is this competition shortly described. Following basic information about possible support frame in competition, the rules description for the frame from thin-walled profiles as well as for composite structure. As the other are shown the most used material types by the tube frames. Continues the practical (design) part of the work. The work continues in construction/design part. Here are mentioned the requirements for the frame creating, calculation of each torsion strength and construction proposal including creating the analysis model. In the final part is realize the simulation in FEM program and simply described the alternative proposal together with the evaluation.

In practical part, there is computation of parameters for appropriate setting of air spring, so it will comply with the rules of Formula Student.
