Implementation av timingbaserat fightingspel till Kinect i C# och WPF / Implementation of a timing-based fighting game for Kinect in C# and WPF

Lindström, Alexander, Ringensjö, Emil January 2013 (has links)

Lööf, Robert January 2012 (has links)
System Andersson AB is a company located in Jönköping that works with developing computer systems for the mechanical engineering industry. As of today, when this report is written, the company is working on the development of a new Manufacturing Planning and Control (MPC) system. This new system aims to create not only a user friendly interface but also a modern, stylish interface. To achieve this, the company has decided to work with a, for them, new application framework; Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).System Andersson is well known for developing systems for different kinds of touch screens, this project is no exception. For this new user interface the company wishes to implement different types of Drag&Drop functionality. They have not had enough time themselves to study and finish these parts and therefore they have chosen to hand out the task as a thesis project. The first step in the process was to get to know what WPF was and how it works, and especially how it handles Drag&Drop. The goal was to put together some sort of class library and a presentation that together were to give the company a quick guide on how they could implement the functionality into their system. As the framework was new for the company there were also a wish for alternative solutions that demonstrated how the WPF framework could be used to solve the task in as many ways as possible. This report contains a summary of the projects procedure and result. In the report the results are presented and motivated as well as demonstrated in the appendix.

KlarSynt Tools : A tool for automating configurations of test environments

Vestin, Simon, Svensson, Daniel January 2014 (has links)
Preparing dedicated environments for testing often requires time consuming, manual configurations to be made on databases and the Windows Registry. A proposed Windows application could improve the efficiency and accuracy of such settings by automating the processes and providing a user-friendly graphical user interface. On behalf of Ninetech, a consulting company, such an application was therefore developed - KlarSynt Tools. This application was to enhance the company's previous methods of configuring test environments by removing the need of manual tasks and the use of an unoptimized tool called Verktyg. In the development of the application features such as connecting to servers, retrieving data from databases, and automatic configurations of the Windows Registry was implemented. Problems such as automating manual tasks had to be dealt with for providing accuracy of the configurations. The usage of development patterns such as MVVM was also utilized in the project to provide flexibility in the program code, and in that way prepare the software for future development. Finally, user-friendliness was integrated into the application interface to provide efficiency in the usage of the application. This project resulted in that a Windows application was developed to accurately and efficiently configure settings to a database and the Windows Registry. The developed application showed to significantly reduce the number of steps required and the time taken to perform the configurations in the old process.

Using C# and WPF to Create a Dynamic 3D Telemetry Theater and Trajectory Visualization Tool

Reff, Mark, O'Neal, John 10 1900 (has links)
ITC/USA 2015 Conference Proceedings / The Fifty-First Annual International Telemetering Conference and Technical Exhibition / October 26-29, 2015 / Bally's Hotel & Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV / Telemetry data from flight tests are normally plotted using MatLab™ or other third party software. For most of the trajectory and flight parameters, a static 2D or 3D line graph does not provide the proper data visualization that can be accomplished with 3D software. Commercial 3D software can be expensive and difficult to customize, and writing custom software using Direct3D or OpenGL can be complex and time consuming. These problems were overcome using C# and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) to quickly and easily create a 3D Telemetry Theater and Trajectory Visualization Tool to dynamically display actual and simulated flight tests.

Software development of visualization tool for 3D

Stenmarck, Martin January 2011 (has links)
The visualization is an important and vital tool of describing complex data for an uninitialized user. SICK has developed an array of advanced machine vision cameras all capable of producing large data sets of information at a high rate. Although capable of fast data handling and the ability of controlling robots and other types of controls, the data used for these calculations can be showed for an easy and fast feedback to the users or in a sales situation. The visualization available today, although fairly fast, is limited to a gradient textured model with few tools. Based on OpenGL the current visualization requires a wrapper to handle correctly within .NET applications which is the preferred platform at SICK. This thesis studies the possibility and development of new visualization tool based on .NET capable of adding textures and interaction with the visualization. Since the data derived from the different cameras can occur in so many different ways a robust application ia needed. With the use of Windows presentation Foundation (WPF) framework the application is divided in three components. The first one is a library capable of reading the correct section of the file and then structuring the data. The second component is a user control; this allows the visualization to be constructed and displayed with ease within all .NET applications. The third component is a application which make use of the two other components to display and interact with the visualization. The developed visualization can display several different textures and has support for full navigation in the form of zoom, panning and rotation. The application is developed in .NET for easy integration with other applications and tools. WPF has a straightforward way of handling 3d content, however it is mostly used for small elements of 3D not for as large models as provided by the cameras. By subsampling the data set, the loading time can be reduced to an acceptable value. Although visualizing the data in a detailed and interactive way, the WPF-framework is on its knees when handling the larger files. There are several limitations in WPF which indicates the unsuitability as the main graphical engine.

Using C# and WPF to Create Fast Plots for Telemetry Analysis on Large Data Sets

Burns, Steven, Endress, William 10 1900 (has links)
ITC/USA 2014 Conference Proceedings / The Fiftieth Annual International Telemetering Conference and Technical Exhibition / October 20-23, 2014 / Town and Country Resort & Convention Center, San Diego, CA / Upon completion of a test where telemetry(TM) data was collected, the resulting TM file will usually contain millions of data points. Traditionally MatLab™, Mathlab™, or some third party software is used to plot the data. These methods may not always be desirable due to the expense of licensing, restrictions on the ability to create custom graphs and the inability to quickly plot large amounts of data. These problems were solved by using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) graphics capabilities in conjunction with C# to develop a unique set of algorithms to display custom graphs of unlimited size with quick response.

TestLink : Software for connecting laboratory equipment and automation of workflow. / TestLink : Mjukvara för att koppla samman labutrustning och automatisera arbetsflöde.

Westberg, Martin January 2015 (has links)
Software development is of great significance in manufacturing and process industry. Software can, for example, make production more efficient and monitoring easier. In paperboard industry testing the product, that is, paperboard, is important. Testing is done to make sure that the product meets the requirements of the customers who transform the paperboard to packaging products. In the Skoghall paperboard Mill operators make use of a range of different test methods. Since the work pace is high and the product is being continuously tested improvements of the workflow at the laboratory are always of interest. The aim of this project is to develop a program that connects test instruments at Skoghall Mill’s test laboratory to the Mill’s network. The motivation is to automate part of the work process by removing the step of manually reading measurement values from the test instruments. The scope of this project includes developing software that connects one of the instruments (the Short Span Compression tester [1] or SCT) at the laboratory to the Mill’s network. This program, named TestLink, will work as a proof of concept for connecting instruments using a common interface. The software is constructed using a modular approach forming a platform where an additional instrument can be connected by creating a new module. The software is developed in Visual Studio using C# as the programming language. The software architecture follows the MVVM [2] (Model View ViewModel) design pattern paradigm and WPF [3] (Windows Presentation Foundation) is used to construct the graphical user interface. The result shows that time savings can be made when automating part of the work with the introduction of new software.
