KOLÁŘ, Tomáš January 2008 (has links)
The aim of the diploma paper was to test a complete fitness of pupils in the 6th class in the primary school in České Budějovice and to affect forming of the correct carriage of body habit by pointed motion activities. The objects of my research were two groups of probands from the 6th class of the primary school. Altogether, 40 probands were submitted to the research. They were separated to the two equal groups, as the experimental one and as the control one. At the beginning, I tested, found out and documented the complete fitness and mainly I found out the correct carriage of body of the both groups. Inclusion of compensatory and toning exercises for the correct carriage of body into the PE for the six-week period by the exercise plan done by myself followed. I did exercises for strengthening the abdominal and back muscles and exercises for stretching the muscles along the vertebral column with the experimental group of 20 probands. The control group had during the exercise plan ordinary PE lessons by school curriculum led by the PE teacher. The Matthias method was used for the evaluation of the carriage of body and the Ruffier test was used for finding the complete fitness. Everything was written down, compiled and evaluated in charts and graphs for its objectification. The results showed that the pupils in the 6th class in the primary school have nowadays very bad complete fitness and they cannot assume the correct upright posture. Also weakened abdominal muscles and shortened quadrates lumbar muscle were showed up on the most of the pupils.

Kučera, Patrik January 2015 (has links)
Thesis title: The effects of a swimming intervention on physical fitness in 6-15 years old children Thesis aims: The main aim of this thesis has been to explore the effects of regular swimming intervention on physical fitness in 6-15 years old children and focus on the importance of suitable nutrition for this age period. Methods: I've used in my thesis 2 research methods. The first one was the survey with 10 questions to ask the respondents about their leisure time physical activities and nutrition. For positive influence on physical fitness is the effect of healthy nutrition and other physical activities execpt of swimming very important. The second research method has been the standardized test baterry Unifittest 6-60. For the 6-15 years old children speifically these data and measurement: age, height, weight, long jump (from static position), sit-up 60s, Leger test. In the beginning of December I've taken the first primary of measuring. After 3 months of training intervention I've taken the secondary part of measuring. Subsequently I've evaluated the gained information. Results: We have compared the primary (entrance) measurement results and the results of secondary measurement after 13 weeks of surveillance. After 13 weeks of intervention we didn't found out statistical significant differences...

Boubelíková, Barbora January 2017 (has links)
Title: The relationship of body composition and aerobic fitness in the elderly Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine the aerobic fitness of students at University of Third Age at the UK FTVS and to investigate whether there exists an association between body composition and aerobic fitness. Methods: The research involved 54 seniors (age 64 ± 2.71 years, body height 163.23 ± 6.05 cm) who studied at University of the 3rd Age at the UK FTVS at the time of research. The original sample of probands was 91, but people aged over 70 years and people taking heart-rate medications had to be excluded. Measurments of body composition was performed using BIA 2000M multifrequency bioimpedance analysis. The investigated parameters were total body water (TBW), intracellular water (ICW), extracellular water (ECW) in litres, fat free mass (FFM) in kg, percentage of body fat (% BF) and extracellular and body cell mass ratio (ECM/BCM). Measurement of aerobic fitness was performed by a 2 km test pass, evaluated by Stejskal at the athletic stadium UK FTVS. Time and heart rate were scanned by sporttester (Polar S 610i). The data was processed using the IBM SPSS statistics 22. Results: The results showed that our group belongs to "avarage seniors" in terms of aerobic fitness. A significant relationship...

Posouzení zařazení priessnitz walking mezi pohybové aktivity seniorů z hlediska bezpečnosti, adherence a podpory tělesné zdatnosti / The Value of "Priessnitz Walking" as older adult exercise: issues of safety, adherence to the regimen, and fitness maintenance

Komínová, Olga January 2009 (has links)
This diploma thesis presents a new form of outdoor activity called Priessnitz Walking, which means a connection of nordic walking, cooling limbs in a cold water and a yoga breathing exercises. A physiological grounds of each of its parts has been explained in the theoretical part of the thesis as well as its benefits for older people. Next to this, the thesis concerns about a physiology of aging and the importance of regular physical activity in later life. Our clinical experiment investigated an effect of PW during six-week training programe in older women attending Cardio Club Motol. A significant change in cardiorespiratory function and a positive subjective evaluation of the participates has been shown. Besides, we have found Priessnitz walking to be a save kind of endurance training for older people. A long-term adherance, which we also focused on, was not confirmed. Individuální pohybový program pro ovlivnění kondice a úpravu hmotnosti / Individula movement program to influence fitness and affect body weight

Kupr, Pavel January 2012 (has links)
INVIDUAL MOVEMENT PROGRAM TO INFLUENCE FITNESS AND AFFECT BODY WEIGHT Aims: The main aim of this thesis is to influence the fitness assumptions and to affect the body weight of a chosen person on the basis of an applied intervention program. Particular aims involve creating the intervention program, its fulfillment and practical verification, confirmation of defined hypotheses, stating and particulary explaining the differences between measured dates before and after the intervention and formulating relevant conclusions and recommendations.. Methods: The research method used in the thesis was an experiment. Its basis was creation and especially application of the six months lasting training program and further testing in laboratory conditions before and after the intervention. Results: The controlled person fulfilled the training program without complications and in a full scale. The created interventional program involved aerobic activities (running), bodybuilding and other activities (fitbox, cycling, in-line skating, swimming) without adjusting nutrition habits or an eventual diet. The feed-back tests showed/proved that the condition assumptions of the controlled person distincively improved in all chosen function parameters. Requested weight reduction though was not achieved. Vliv individuálního intervenčního programu na vybrané komponenty zdravotně orientované zdatnosti u jedince bez předchozí pohybové zkušenosti / Effect of individual intervention programme on selected components of health-related fitness to proband without previous movement experience

Kovařík, Michal January 2016 (has links)
Title: Effect of individual intervention programme on selected components of health- related fitness to proband without previous movement experience Objective: The main objective of the thesis is physical analysis and diagnosis of individual, individual intervention program creation and subsequent assessment of whether and how personally leaded program can affect selected components of health-related fitness to proband without any previous experience. Methods: For the needs of this thesis several types of measurements were used. Body composition using bioelectrical impedance analysis, postural stability - posturograph, laboratory stress test on a treadmill, terrain stress test on the athletics track, the basic movement patterns using diagnostic according to Janda, as a complementary test was chosen dynamometer to determine the strength of forearm muscles. Results: During the 16-week intervention changes occurred in many of the parameters. Individual intervention program has brought significant changes in body composition, specifically to reduce the ratio of ECM/BCM in the early phase of the program, but later was its exacerbation. Generally, the trend showed improvement in postural stability due to the generally realized PA. The intervention program did not demonstrate significant changes in...
