The thesis is divided into theoretical and analytical parts. The first part describes the theoretical approaches to project management, the second part analyzes the process of current condition in the company. In the following part are listed recommendations for the company based on the analysis, and summary of the results and conclusions of this thesis.

The diploma thesis is focused on the topic of using of children's portfolios, but especially focuses on children's portfolios as a possible diagnostic tool when enrolling in primary schools. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to find out what are the possibilities of using children's portfolios when enrolling in the first class and how teachers view the possibility of using children's portfolios when enrolling in the first years of basic education. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the topics of the child's transition from kindergarten to basic education, the implementation of enrollment in primary school in the past and today, as well as school maturity and preparedness. Children's portfolio, its creation and use in kindergarten represents another possibility and way of using children's portfolio outside kindergarten, especially as a diagnostic tool for determining school maturity and preparedness in the process of enrolling children in primary education. Dynamic assessment constitutes an alternative diagnostic approach, focused on revelation of the tested person's learning potential, which is reached and observed via the emphasis on the process of the achievement. It aims at meaningful connection with the intervention that immediately makes use of diagnostic findings to support the development of an individual's abilities. This work summarizes essential information about the mentioned diagnostic trend - its characteristic, a definition compared to conventional ways of testing and historical development. It investigates some possibilities of its utilization, especially in the area of preschool diagnostic and education, and creates a basis for an instrument of the effective prevention of educational and behavioural difficulties during the first years of the school attendance.

The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the determination of the development characteristics of the period from the age of three to eight (i.e. pre-school and younger school age). The principal focus is on the issue of school maturity, the possibilities of its diagnosis and the pupils' adaptation to the first year of primary school. The empirical part introduces a quantitative research focused on some diagnostic methods (the Orientation Test of School Maturity - Orientační test školní zralosti, the Knowledge Test of Pre-school Children - Zkouška znalostí předškolních dětí and The Star - Wave Test) and the possibility of using these methods for predicting a child's adaptation to the first year of primary school. The thesis aims to examine how these methods could be used and also to show the possible limits related to using these methods. The theoretical part defines the concept of pre-school age and of school maturity, it deals with possible reasons for school immaturiry and their improvement. Special attention is given to drawing in connection with school maturity. The practical part derives from judgement of school maturity on the base of graphic abilities. The typical signs and possible differences between boys' and girls' graphic abilities are viewed.

The child?s entry to school is an important developmental milestone. Each child is a personality, so there are different variants of adaptation to new conditions. The theoretical part of the thesis acquaints the reader with basic concepts of the pre-school period, school period, and children?s adaptation. On the basis of a qualitative survey, the thesis, then, compares them with presented results. The practical part follows the theoretical one and focuses on comparing success or failure in specified categories. To observe adaptation of very different children to the primary school, children with varied skills and abilities were selected for the survey already in the nursery school. To obtain as much information about children as possible, observations, tests, interviews with teachers in both types of educational institutions as well as questionnaires for parents were used.

Přípravné třídy v období legislativních změn / Preparatory classes in the period of legislative changes

The topic of my diploma thesis is the preparatory class during the legislative changes. The aim was to find out, how the directors and pedagogues perceive the development of the preparatory classes, if there were any changes during the time and what is the significance of the preparatory class for its pupils. The main objective of the work was to find out, how school leaderf and pedagogues do they perceive the future of the preparatory classes after the legislative's modification, or how could the perfect preparatory class look like in the future. I used a case study as a basic method. I got the research information from the interviews with primary school directors and preparatory class teachers. The result is that the preparatory classes have their place in educational system and that they are good for children, who visit them. Another result is that each school has a different children composition in the preparatory classes and that each school looks at the legislative a little bit different. The directors and pedagogues are afraid of the future of the preparatory classes because after the legislative modification there will be only few children with the postponement of the compulsory schooling. And they are afraid of the cancelling of the preparatory classes.

Topic of the diploma thesis is "The family as a subject of social work in Czech Republic and abroad. Study of factors affecting the stability of marriage". The theoretical part deals with changing the form of contemporary families. The aim of this thesis is to take a look at the family as a subject of social work; get acquainted with the current functioning of the family; to check what the difference is between the Czech Republic and Russia, and also to find out what factors affecting the stability of marriage and why we are constantly talking about the crisis of the family. The content of the practical part was the qualitative analysis of data, which were obtained with the help of prepared questionnaire. Diploma thesis may serve as theme and inspiration for social work with young and older families, and may be the basis for social assistance and consultancy.
