The aim of this research is to study the French language used in Belgium, to describe the linguistic situation and some peculiarities of the language there, and to compare it with French language used in France. The author lived in Belgium for nearly six years and compared her experience of the differences between the French language in Belgium with the one used in France. To explore her impressions, she has studied and analysed different sources on the topic and summarised the most important differences. The research is divided in two parts. One gives more general information on Belgium, describes the history of the territory and the linguistic situation of the country to help understand the situation of the French language there. The other, more important part on the language itself describes the phonetic, morphological, syntactic and lexical particularities of Belgian French. The basic conclusion of this paper is that Belgian French is slightly different from French used in France but the differences are not great enough to make understanding between the two nations difficult.

Main topic of this thesis is description of sound post production in advertising and in the film film industry and making case study of company Studio Beep s.r.o. First aim of this thesis is describe as clearly as possible the theory of sound and sound post production in advertising and in film industry and also show specifics accompanying production of sound in each discipline. The theoretical part contains basic overview about history of sound, sound dramaturgy and about general principles of sound post production. Second aim is practical description of this issue on specific advertising and film projects, which were realized in Studio Beep s.r.o. Practical description helps us with understanding whole issue and with complementing the theoretical part.

Táto práca sa zaoberá rozpoznávaním výstrelov a pridruženými problémami. Ako prvé je celá vec predstavená a rozdelená na menšie kroky. Ďalej je poskytnutý prehľad zvukových databáz, významné publikácie, akcie a súčasný stav veci spoločne s prehľadom možných aplikácií detekcie výstrelov. Druhá časť pozostáva z porovnávania príznakov pomocou rôznych metrík spoločne s porovnaním ich výkonu pri rozpoznávaní. Nasleduje porovnanie algoritmov rozpoznávania a sú uvedené nové príznaky použiteľné pri rozpoznávaní. Práca vrcholí návrhom dvojstupňového systému na rozpoznávanie výstrelov, monitorujúceho okolie v reálnom čase. V závere sú zhrnuté dosiahnuté výsledky a načrtnutý ďalší postup.

The aim of master‘s project is to design a new building of the office building in the cadastre area of Rohatec. The project is divided into three parts. The first part deals with the design of environment friendly and sustainable building. The second part is focused on the design of building services and the processing of building energy services. The third part is focused on the modeling of the noise study, the assessment of the soundproofing of the external cladding and the assessment of the reverberation time.

More and more attention of scientists and artists is paid to the effect of sound to human and ecosystems. Due to technology development and growing urgency of human impact new approaches are being formed. This thesis is based on concepts of acoustics ecology by R. M. Schafer. In addition to noise mapping, Czech geographical research does not reflect the growing urgency of sound environment issues. In this thesis I present terminology, concepts and some methods which are used in acoustic ecology or soundscape ecology. A literature search shows the application of these terminology, concepts and methods in a geographical research, specifically in urban and landscape planning, geography of tourism, leisure, health geography or landscape ecology. In an empirical part I followed a pioneering idea of acoustic landscape typology. I used qualitative research, listening walk and narrative conversation, to obtain data about soundscapes. Through these data I critically evaluated and compared acoustic typology of landscape by Hendrych and Hynek (2008). I used recording of soundscapes and spectrograms as secondary methods. The work deals with the recording and reproduction of sound tracks on 16mm film and with old forgotten film optic sound technologies, as well as plans experiments and research, which examines possible methods for reading and writing tracks using modern optoelectronic devices. The final output is intended to drive the writing negative audio (analog and digital) on the photosensitive material and design of the device for synchronous playback of digital audio tracks from an external memory card. The work is done in collaboration with film laboratories Barrandov Studio a.s. and Meopta-Optika, spol. s r.o.

"Measure twice and cut once" MSc. Kunc´s super8 format narrative fabrication in 80´s. This dissertation presents amateurish authorial films of MSc .Vladimír Kunc on Super 8 mm film format with emphasis on film editing as an reflection of time in the moment of its origin in the 80ties. I will compare the phenomenon of applied magnetic sound of Dr.Rentz for Kunz image montages with a sound of composition of authorial films of The Wizzard of Oz, who has chosen adventurous way of audio tape to his films on Super 8mm film format in the same decade. The aspect of authorial sound montage is looked through the contemporary technological and distributive possibilities.The text also presents analysis of expressional means of Super 8 mm films and the way of their using within particular authorial approaches-model authorial subjects. This dissertation presents study of narrative films which during the filming and editing look for not only notice value but also the way of narration.The films which are looking not only for message but also its form in the context particular period.

Thesis deals with determination of layerwise mechanical properties of composite ceramics by indirect method, namely Youngs modulus. Based on literature review, it was found that a method to determine elastic properties of one or more components of multi layered composites based on experimental modal analysis and finite element modal analysis, or analytical approach exists. Method based on FE modal analysis was applied to ceramic laminate, where it was attempt to determine youngs modulus of one component. Beyond that, it was attempt to determine Youngs moduli of both components using first two bending resonant frequencies. Results were unsatisfying. Sensitivity analysis showed that layers with unknown Youngs modulus were overly sensitive to small changes in input parameters due to their small relative thickness with respect to thickness of laminate and due to location in laminate. Based on this conclusion, recommendations were made with respect to suitable geometry of test specimens.

This work explores the topic of digital audio signal processing for modular synthesizers and the design of digital oscillator for modular standard known as Eurorack. Introduction of the theoretical part is dedicated to basic terms and blocks used in modular synthesizers. The thesis also characterizes and presents the methods of sound synthesis. The second part of the theory concerns analog and digital signal conversion made by digital signal processors DSP, focusing on ARM with focus on ARM architecture. The practical part of the thesis concerns design and construction of the digital oscillator which generates periodic waveforms without aliasing distortion. The oscillator also allows several types of modulations and waveforming and the module has several inputs for connecting control voltages or external audio signals.

The main concern of this thesis work is the five-storey multifunction building. The house will consist of 22 residential units and one barrier-free apartment to which they belong cellar and two establishments. The building will have four above ground and one underground floor.
