The putative father: an exploratory study of some factors to be considered in illegitimate paternity.

The project sought to determine what information already exists concerning the putative father, if services offered him are adequate, and where gaps in service lie. The main sources of data were the relevant literature and live subjects. The live material consisted of a sample of nineteen key professional people in the city of Montreal, a sample of five putative fathers in Alberta as well as the social workers who interviewed them.
