Syftet med föreliggande litteraturstudie var att undersöka om det ansågs finnas ett glapp mellan teori och praktik i sjuksköterskeutbildningen. Frågeställningarna var: 1. Vad anses vara anledningen till det eventuella glappet mellan teori och praktik i sjuksköterskeutbildningen? 2. Med hjälp av vilka redskap kan studenterna försöka sammanlänka det eventuella glappet mellan teori och praktik? Tio artiklar, som granskades enligt Polit m fl (2001) användes för att försöka få svar på frågeställningarna. Artiklarnas resultat granskades och strukturerades upp under rubriker utifrån frågeställningarna. Ett entydigt svar på om det fanns ett glapp eller hur detta skulle sammanlänkas gick inte att fastställa under denna studie. Men handledning och reflektion, både individuellt och i grupp, ansågs dock vara bra redskap för att binda samman teori och praktik. / The purpose with this study was to investigate if there is, or if it is considered to be a gap between theory and practice in nursing education. The questions asked by the authors were: 1. What could be the reason for the possible gap between theory and practice in nursing education? 2. With which tools can the students try to link the possible gap between theory and practice? To answer this, the authors elected to do a review of ten scientific articles, these articles where critical reviewed according to Polit et al (2001). During the review of the articles the authors categorised the results into topics, with the same headings as the questions. A conclusive answer concerning if there is a gap or not, or how this gap should be bridged could not be determined. But tutoring and reflection, both individual and in group, was viewed as good tools to combine theory and practice.
