Bakgrund: Inom palliativ vård sker det många etiska ställningstaganden som kräver beslut. Vårdteamet har olika ansvarsområden i den palliativa vården. Läkaren har huvudansvaret över beslut men för att en god palliativ vård ska kunna bedrivas krävs ett multiprofessionellt samarbete.Syfte: Att belysa sjuksköterskors upplevelser och erfarenheter av beslutsprocesser i det palliativa skedet. Metod: Litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats som bygger på 10 vetenskapliga artiklar från databaserna CINAHL och PubMed. De utvalda artiklarna granskades med en hjälp av SBU:s granskningsmall. Vidare analyserades artiklarna utifrån Graneheim & Lundmans innehållsanalys. Resultat: Resultatet presenteras i tre kategorier: Sjuksköterskans delaktighet i beslutsprocesser, patienten och anhöriga i beslutsprocesser och vikten av samarbete i beslutsprocesser.Konklusion: Sjuksköterskan bör ha en tydligare roll och delaktighet i beslutsprocesser samt att ett nära samarbete i det multiprofessionella teamet är av stor vikt för att kunna bedriva en god palliativ vård. / Background: When working in palliative care one is often subjected to many difficult ethical dilemmas that needs to be dealt with. Within an interprofessional team those that are included have different areas of responsibility, out of which the doctor is the one who carries the main responsibility for making decisions. However, in order to give high quality palliative care it is essential that the cooperation within the group is functional.Aim: To illuminate the experiences of nurses that are within the process of decision-making concerning palliative care.Method: A literature review with a qualitative approach based on 10 scientific articles which were gathered from the databases CINAHL and PubMed. The chosen articles were reviewed using SBU’s reviewing template. From there on the articles were analyzed in accordance to the content analysis of Graneheim & Lundman.Result: Is presented in three separate categories: The nurses’ participation in decision-making, the patient and their relatives’ involvement in the process and the importance of cooperation within the interprofessional team in the process of making decisions.Conclusion: In order for the interprofessional team to be able to carry out a qualitative palliative care, it is essential that nurses are given a more clearly defined and participatory role when decisions are being made.
