Previous issue date: 2010-12-20 / The feminist movement reached our country later than other countries, due to the military
dictatorship, and forced women to anticipate their time, leading them to a different path. From
then on, feminist movements were created across Brazil, including Goias. Thus, the feminist
movement in Goiania proved to be a diversified 􀁚􀁒􀁐􀁈􀁑􀂶􀁖􀀃 􀁐􀁒􀁙􀁈􀁐􀁈􀁑􀁗 as it was able to
approach numerous issues where and when it took place. This paper aims to reveal the voice
of the feminist from Goiás as an important analytical tool to feminists' studies, and to enroll
studies that incorporate women in gender relations and their role in power relations in
dictatorial system. Then, using the words of interviewees, it will focus the organization and
structure of the feminist movement in Goiania: what goals it has reached and what the
feminist fight has changed in the female image and behavior within the several gender and
power relations in different spaces and historical times. / O movimento feminista chegou ao nosso país tardiamente, em virtude da ditadura militar,
obrigando as mulheres antecipar seu tempo e desenhando em suas vidas um percurso
diferente. A partir daí, em todo o Brasil foram sendo criados movimentos feministas, em
Goiás, não foi diferente. O movimento feminista em Goiânia revelou-se como um movimento
de mulheres diversificado, capaz de abordar inúmeras temáticas no tempo e espaço a que
pertencia. Este trabalho, portanto, mostra as vozes das feministas goianas como um
importante instrumento analítico para os estudos feministas, rastreando, assim, os estudos que
incorporam as mulheres nas relações de gênero e o seu papel nas relações de poder do sistema
ditatorial. Em seguida, por meio da fala das entrevistadas, será focalizada uma reflexão a
respeito da organização e estruturação do movimento feminista em Goiânia: quais as
conquistas que obtiveram e o que toda a luta feminista fez mudar na imagem e no
comportamento feminino dentro das várias relações de gênero e de poder, em diferentes
espaços e tempos históricos.
