Previous issue date: 2017 / Dentre tantos pontos que deixam transparente a vulnerabilidade da sociedade haitiana, as questões que envolvem o processo saude/enfermidade/atenção são os que mais induzem vivencias de sofrimento e a percepção da desigualdade. Sendo o Haiti o país mais pobre da América e um dos mais pobres do mundo, edificou-se dentro da pluralidade religiosa e terapêutica os caminhos para tentar alcançar a cura dos processos de adoecimento. A construção do percurso terapêutico dos sujeitos ao perceberem-se doentes, no entanto, além de ser permeada por uma série de conflitos religiosos envolvendo os terapeutas locais é acompanhada pela mais profunda precariedade do sistema público de saúde. Frente a esta realidade, este estudo buscou compreender, por meio de vivências em campo, a construção dos itinerários terapêuticos a partir da articulação entre os saberes, os agentes e as práticas envolvidas no processo saúde/doença no contexto sócio cultural de uma comunidade do Haiti rural. Diante de trajetórias sem muita possibilidade de escolhas eficazes dentro deste sistema, vê-se em cada relato de experiência a violência estrutural como um legado histórico, perpetuado ainda hoje por forças sociais e políticas globais que determinam o risco de adoecer e o viabilidade (ou não) para curar-se das doenças.<br> / Abstract : Among the many points that make the vulnerability of Haitian society transparent, the issues surrounding the health / illness / care process are those that most induce experiences of suffering and the perception of inequality. Haiti, being the poorest country in America and one of the poorest in the world, has been built within the religious and therapeutic plurality of ways to try to achieve a cure for the disease processes. However, in addition to being permeated by a series of religious conflicts involving local therapists, the construction of the therapeutic path of the subjects when they perceive patients is accompanied by the deepest precariousness of the public health system. In the face of this reality, this study sought to understand, through experiences in the field, the construction of therapeutic itineraries based on the articulation between the knowledge, agents and practices involved in the health / disease process in the social and cultural context of a Haitian community rural. Faced with trajectories without much possibility of effective choices within this system, we see in each experience report structural violence as a historical legacy, still perpetuated today by global social and polítical forces that determine the risk of becoming ill and the viability (or ) to cure themselves of diseases.
