[pt] A dissertação tem como objetivo central o estudo da
produção poéticamusical
de Renato Russo e Cazuza, os mais significativos nomes do
rock
brasileiro dos anos 1980. Representantes do que pode ser
chamada de uma poética
à margem, os dois letristas expressam em suas canções as
posturas críticas e
contraculturais que marcaram a década. A leitura da obra
de ambos apóia-se no
mapeamento e discussão do contexto daquele momento
histórico. / [en] The main aim of this dissertation is to study the poetic-
musical production
by Renato Russo and Cazuza, who are the most
representative names in Brazilian
rock of the 1980´s. Both stand to what may be considered a
poetics of the margin,
and also both lyricists express by means of their songs
critical and countercultural
positions that have marked that decade. The reading of
their works is based on the
mapping of their lyrics and the discussion about that
historic moment.
