[pt] A pesquisa explora os efeitos da emergência de um discurso que posiciona Israel
como um modelo para o Brasil nos campos de defesa e segurança pública. Para tal,
inscreve esse discurso em um campo de disputas narrativas e explora as condições de
possibilidade para que Israel viesse a ser tomado como exemplo no campo de segurança
pública e defesa. Em seguida, discute os efeitos dessa posição privilegiada com atenção
à circulação no Brasil e no mundo de equipamentos de segurança e armamentos
israelenses. Ao perseguir o rastro históricos de alguns desses aparatos, a dissertação busca
escancarar as diferenciações de alteridade e raciais subjacentes ao problema de
segurança para o qual essas soluções são investidas tanto no Brasil como em Israel.
Ao fazê-lo, o trabalho objetiva analisar a ressonância mútua de seus problemas de
ordem pública e os corolários da narrativa de boas práticas. / [en] The research explores the effects of the emergence of a discourse that positions
Israel as a model for Brazil in the fields of defense and public security. To this end, it
inscribes this discourse in a field of narrative disputes and explores the conditions of
possibility for Israel to be taken as an example in the field of public security and defense.
Then, it discusses the effects of this privileged position with attention to the circulation
in Brazil and in the world of Israeli security equipment and weapons. By pursuing the
historical trace of some of these apparatuses, the dissertation seeks to open up the
differences of alterity and racial underlying the security problem for which these
solutions are invested both in Brazil and in Israel. In doing so, the work aims to analyze
the mutual resonance of their public order problems
and the corollaries of the best practices narrative.
