Previous issue date: 1999 / Resumo: Diante da riqueza da cultura Kadiwéu, delimitamos como objeto deste trabalho o estudo das brincadeiras tradicionais e o esporte entre os jovens. Especificamente, esta pesquisa pretende contribuir para uma melhor compreensão da fase de transição em que se encontram os índios Kadiwéu, cujo momento é de re-significação e de-significação (termos de acordo com Orlandi,1996). Esse estudo é fundamentado em teorias da área de Educação Física, de Antropologia e Linguagem /Análise de Discurso. A cultura corporal está fundamentada em autores que elaboraram análises e reflexões sobre brincadeiras tradicionais e esporte, buscando respostas para os seguintes questionamentos: quais brincadeiras, esportes e formas de organização estão sendo praticados entre os Kadiwéu da Aldeia Bodoquena? Quais esportes foram desenvolvidos a partir da relação de contato com a sociedade envolvente? O trabalho foi desenvolvido através de procedimentos etnográficos, com inserção da pesquisadora no cotidiano do grupo por períodos intercalados, combinados com a comunidade. As fontes de pesquisa adotadas foram bibliográficas e testemunhais. O estudo foi realizado com dois tipos de textos: escrito e relato. A Antropologia, em seu estilo de abordagem com ênfase na 'observação participante' orientada por princípios científicos, possibilitou que, na pesquisa de campo, cujo objetivo foi o discurso oral, fossem coletos dados significativos para serem analisados sob a ótica da Análise de Discurso/AD. Minha leitura, meu modo de escutar, foram sustentados pelo 'dispositivo analítico de interpretação' com o fim de estabelecer uma mediação, para que o que fosse dito a 'linguagem me autorizasse'. Hoje, as relações de contato, que são sinuosas, simbólicas, deixam os Kadiwéu, por vezes, com sua memória mitológica sem condições e sem espaço de interpretação, tendo que aceitar a outra cultura da maneira que vem / Abstract: The goal of this research is the study of games and sports among the Kadiwéu youth. Specially this reseach intends to conribute in better understanding of the transition phase in that meet indians Kadiwéu, whese moviment is of re-significance and of-significance. That study is based in theories of the area of Physical Education, of Anthropology and Language/Analysys of Discourse. The corporal culture is based in authors that elaborated analyses and reflections on traditional games and sport, looking for answers for the following questions: which games, sports and organization forms have been practiced among the Aldeia Bodoquena's Kadiwéu? Which sports were developed from the contact relationship with the urban society? The work was developed through procedures etnographies, with the insertions of the researcher in the daily life of the group for different periods. The research sources were bibliographical and oral informations. The study was accomplished with two types of texts: written and report. The anthropological method was the participative observations and interviw. The informations was analysed under the optics of the Analysis of Discourse. My reading, my way of listening, they were sustained by the 'analytic device of interpretation' in order to establish a mediation. The contact relationships, are sinuous, symbolic, which leave the Kadiwéu groups, per times, with its mythological memory without conditions and without interpretation space, they tends to accept the other culture in the way that comes. For these considerations, in this study, my option was the one ofplacing my knowledge to service of the group, to understand and to attribute to the scientific research the political paper of coming back to the practice, making a movement to the opposite, that is to say, elaborating questions to help the better understanding the games and the sport to the Kadiwéu grou / Mestrado / Mestre em Educação Física
