The purpose of this study is to provide knowledge about preschool teachers´ perspective on children´s influence in preschool. The method for the study was qualitative interviews with six active preschool teachers. The result showed that there are opportunities and obstacles to children´s influence. Opportunities are lifted as responsive and present educators who maintain an open climate between colleagues and children to create a safe environment, where children are given the opportunity to influence. Obstacles to children´s influence are lifted mainly as rules, routines and stress. The result also shows the age and sex of children as possible factors for enabling and preventing children´s influence in the preschool. Through this study, some reflections on children´s real influence and possible ways of working are also highlighted in order to make visible the consensus and approach in the work team. Which can help to develop work with influence and children´s opportunities to influence the preschool.
