The purpose of the study is to delve into influencers ability to adapt during a financially strained situation. This is investigated by studying influencers during covid-19. To create an understanding and contribute to the purpose of the study, the study examines the way in which influencers adapt their way of working and the extent to which they change the creation of their content on Instagram. In addition, the study examines the way in which influencers actions towards companies in negotiations have changed. The study will fill an unexplored area in influencer marketing, from an influencers perspective, about how influencers should act in similar financially strained situations in the future.
