Min avsikt med denna uppsats var att undersöka hur en grupp högutbildade kursdeltagare upplevde att dagens sfi-utbildning fungerar med avseende på möjligheterna som gavs för att uppnå utbildningens mål samt huruvida de uppfattade dess utformning och mål jämfört med hur dessa anges i ämnesbeskrivningen. Resultaten av undersökningen visade att kursdeltagarnas uppfattningar stämde väl överrens med ämnesbeskrivningen och att enbart få skillnader framträdde mellan deras synsätt och ämnesbeskrivningen. De ansåg att sfi-utbildningen var välplanerad och att den fungerade bra. / The purpose of this paper was to study how a group of students with academic backgrounds described the course in Swedish for immigrants. Two aspects were considered: first, was there sufficient opportunity to achieve the courses goals and second were there differences between the students understanding of the courses content and goals with respect to the presented course documentation. the results of the study showed that the students understanding of the content and goals of the Sfi course matched well with the provided course description. Only few minor differences were apparent. The students in this study estimated that the Sfi course they attented was well planed and highly efficient.
