CoordenaÃÃo de AperfeÃoamento de Pessoal de NÃvel Superior / A filosofia de Jean-Paul Sartre (1905 â 1980) à comumente dividida em dois momentos, o primeiro voltado Ãs questÃes mais filosÃficas, sendo a-histÃrico e metafÃsico e tendo O ser e o nada (1943) como obra central, enquanto o segundo estaria mais preocupado com o homem na histÃria e com uma filosofia mais prÃtica, tendo a CrÃtica da razÃo dialÃtica (1960) como obra principal. A ideia de nosso trabalho Ã, negando tal polarizaÃÃo, defender que a obra de 1943 està longe de ser a-histÃrica ou metafÃsica. Pelo contrÃrio, nela sua concepÃÃo de liberdade à ligada necessariamente a uma situaÃÃo, està voltada para a aÃÃo e relaciona-se à responsabilidade dos homens em cada uma dessas situaÃÃes. Para defender nossa posiÃÃo, analisaremos alguns elementos biogrÃficos que indicam o engajamento intelectual do filÃsofo, seja em sua vida pÃblica, seja enquanto escritor, bem como investigaremos suas concepÃÃes de liberdade e responsabilidade presentes em O ser e o nada. à dessa forma, relacionando as anÃlises de sua vivÃncia como intelectual e como escritor engajado com o estudo da liberdade e responsabilidade, que buscaremos compreender a filosofia de Sartre como uma filosofia prÃtica, histÃrica e voltada para a aÃÃo, delineando assim os primeiros passos para a construÃÃo de uma Ãtica. / The philosophy of Jean-Paul Sartre (1905 - 1980) is commonly divided into two stages, the first facing the most philosophical questions, ahistorical being and metaphysical and
with Being and Nothingness (1943) as central work, while the second I would be more
concerned with man in history and with a more practical philosophy, and dialectical reason of Criticism (1960) as the main work. The idea of our work is denying such bias,
arguing that the work 1943 is far from being ahistorical or metaphysics. Rather there his conception of freedom is necessarily linked to a situation, it is focused on action and is related to the responsibility of men in each of these situations. To defend our position,
we will analyze some biographical elements that indicate the intellectual engagement of the philosopher, whether in his public life, both as a writer and investigate their conceptions of freedom and responsibility present in Being and Nothingness. It is thus relating the analysis of his experience as an intellectual and as engaged writer to the study of freedom and responsibility that seek to understand the philosophy of Sartre as a practical philosophy, history and focused on the action, thus outlining the first steps towards construction of an ethic.
