Analyzing cash models we realize that they have wide definitions, and attempt of practical appliance implies changes to adapt to company's reality. Cash balance is more relevant to banks than to any other company. That is one of the reasons of rigid state rules over its activities. Due to this relevance, it's interesting to formulate a cash balance model applied to these institutions. That is the purpose of this work. There will be considerable changes on a dynamic probabilistic programming general model due to the particular conditions that characterize banks environment. On the Brazilian economy of nowadays, the high rates of inflation and, consequently. the opportunity cost, and the relative low costs of transaction, the ideal cash levei would be intuitively, zero. To apply the model to the Brazilian reality, the objective to find a I 'minimum cash balance level' will be adopted to 'minimum leveI of immediate liquidity assets', with lower yield.
