For the assessment of avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), the ARFID module for the Eating Disorder Examination (EDE) is being presented. The EDE ARFID module is a clinical interview for evaluating ARFID according to DSM-5 and ICD-11, and for identifying other clinically relevant characteristics. It can be used as a supplement to the full version of the EDE and its versions for children (ChEDE) and parents (P-EDE) or as a stand-alone instrument. In addition to information on the development, application, and psychometric criteria, this document contains the interview manuals for adolescents and adults, children, and parents with the respective coding and diagnostic sheets.
