Este texto es una reflexión acerca de la cobardía y la temeridad del actor en el ensayo. ¿Qué ocurre
si el actor llega a los extremos de la valentía? Evadirá la necesidad de una tensión equilibrada del
cuerpo, así como una disposición física para el aprendizaje o se obligará a resistir el dolor excesivo
de las tensiones musculares de un cuerpo en equilibrio precario, lo que deteriorará la escucha y la
salud. Primero, se particularizará al actor en su ethos; segundo, se fusionará una virtud aristotélica
con un principio técnico einesiano; por último, se analizará la afectación de la cobardía y la
temeridad a la técnica física mental y al ambiente humano del actor. / This text is a reflection about the cowardice and the recklessness of the actor in the rehearsal. What
happened if the actor reaches the courage’s extremes? He or she will evade the necessity for a
body’s balanced tension, in addition to a physical disposition for learning or will obligate him or
her to resist the excessive pain of the muscular tensions of a body in precarious balance so that it
will spoil the listening and the health. First, the actor’s ethos will be particularized; second, an
Aristotelian virtue and a Einesian technical principle will be connected; finally, the influence of
cowardice and recklessness on the mental-physical technique and the human environment of the
actor will be analyzed.
