The present study is developed because of the constant delays in the delivery of products purchased by the Mining Company, due to time in the internal processes of the logistics area. One of them refers to the zero traceability of shipments since they are sent by the supplier until they arrive at the warehouses in the company to be delivered when they are ready. Under this scenario we want to use the ICT, in order to maintain a permanent and updated process of traceability in a real time, which allows us to make delivery schedules to the consumers. This information is a product of the research of previous studies, interviews to the staff involved in both the logistics area and the final clients, as well as direct observation of the processes. We have divided the document into four chapters: The first chapter called "Theoretical Framework" gives us a clear description of the logistics’ processes, their objectives, functions and the most used indicators, all of them measure the performance of the area. These aspects are useful as a reference in all the company processes, object of study, clarifying each stage based on the processes and general stages of the logistics area and the supply chain management. The second chapter called " Description of the Logistic Process of the Company " tries to show in a clear way how the process is currently, describing the current situation, the purchasing process, service orders, records, among others, and also define the problem, the objectives of the research, the justification and importance of this work, the feasibility of its execution, and in a special way the implementation of the processes supported by RFID technology. The chapter three called " Methodology, Model and Solution Proposal " describes in a very specific way all the theoretical part in which we have sustained to clarify all aspects of the RFID technology, including graphs with the models of implementation as well as all the necessary to be able to implement and compare the technology with others that are in use but do not have all the characteristics of the RFID. In this chapter we also include the model of what we propose, from the hypothesis, the variables and their operation, among others. In addition, it also introduces us into the field of research itself, detailing all the aspects of application of the theoretical part, between which we can highlight, population, sample, research design, techniques and instruments of data collection and analysis among others. Finally, in chapter four "Results, Recommendations and Conclusions" we show the results obtained in chapter three through graphs to a better presentation and understanding of them. The conclusions and recommendations we have arrived after all this research process. / Trabajo de investigación
