Previous issue date: 2012-02-08 / This work aims to study the orality in written text. To investigate the subject, our study will be developed by analyzing editorials of the newspaper Agora São Paulo. The research was based on the Theory of Enunciation, in fundamentals that study face to face interactions in the continuum range of text types proposed by Luiz Antonio Marcuschi, and in the editorial conception as a genre of text. We intend to examine how this kind of text is structured in this newspaper in order to achieve its goal: optimize communication with their readers. Research development reveals the contradictory relationship between the traditional rules that guide the traditional way of an enuncive text and the readers features for which the newspaper is printed. As its audience demands a closer approach, direct and informal, the newspaper Agora São Paulo needs to do concessions when develops (writes) its editorial using an enunciative language. The traits that constitute the text are evident in particular on the comparison between the editorial of the newspaper Agora Sao Paulo with another means of communication of the same company, the newspaper Folha de São Paulo. This text tends to evidence standards considered "objective" and "impartial", i.e., remains faithful to the traditional features that constitute the traditional genre of publishing. In synthesis, the research aims to show how the linguistic-discursive purposes of the writers to achieve their enunciate needs, often, to change the features of an established genre text. / Este trabalho tem como objeto de estudo a oralidade em textos escritos. Para investigar o tema, o objeto de nosso estudo será constituído por editoriais do jornal Agora São Paulo. Com base em pressupostos da Teoria da Enunciação, nos fundamentos que estudam as interações face a face, na escala de continuum dos gêneros textuais proposta por Luiz Antônio Marcuschi e na concepção de editorial como gênero de texto, pretende-se verificar como esse gênero textual se estrutura, nesse jornal, para alcançar seu objetivo último: otimizar a comunicação com seu leitor. O desenvolvimento da pesquisa revela a relação contraditória entre as normas tradicionais que definem o gênero editorial um texto enuncivo - e as características do público leitor para o qual o produto jornalístico é dirigido. Por esse público exigir uma abordagem mais próxima, direta e informal dos temas jornalísticos, o jornal Agora São Paulo vê-se obrigado a fazer concessões na forma de elaboração do editorial, valendo-se de uma linguagem marcada pela enunciatividade. Os traços que a constituem evidenciam-se especialmente na comparação entre os editoriais do jornal Agora São Paulo com outro veículo de comunicação do mesmo Grupo Empresarial, o jornal Folha de S. Paulo. Este tende a apresentar padrões considerados objetivos e imparciais , ou seja, mantém-se fiel às características tradicionais que configuram o gênero editorial. Em síntese, pretende-se na pesquisa evidenciar como os propósitos linguístico-discursivos do enunciador para atingir seu enunciatário exigem, muitas vezes, alterar as características de um gênero textual estabelecido.
