Previous issue date: 2008-03-05 / The present disserta??o had as objective to study the ambient management in the Farms Saint Rita, Tahim Agropesca and Agropesca Rigomoleiro, in the Great River
of the North. For this we use as theoretical tool some fundantes concepts of geographic science, the space, and as concepts auxiliary of ambient management, of estuaries as the half natural one and of manguezais as ecosystem. The study if it gave taking in consideration a model of flow of activities of a typical farm following the way of the residues produced since the beginning until its final destination, in a
suitable script of SCHERER (1999). The considered flow established a sequence activities where it is identified the material of entrance, the process of management, the residues of exit and the destination of the residues to the long one of the phase of culture of the shrimp. From it was there had been elaborated a series of managemental pictures with the data raised in the three farms, of different transports
and concludes that the ambient management of these farms does not follow the formal standards of a system of typical ambient management. Collating with the system of considered by norm ISO14000 the study it disclosed that all the companies are in a situation of not conformity and that the impacts on the environment continue being many significant ones. However, it is possible to implant norm ISO14000
because some procedures implanted for the farms are correct of the point of view of the ambient management / A presente disserta??o teve como objetivo estudar o gerenciamento ambiental nas Fazendas Santa Rita, Tahim Agropesca e Agropesca Rigomoleiro, no Rio Grande do Norte. Para isto utilizamos como ferramenta te?rica um conceito
fundante da ci?ncia geogr?fica, o espa?o, e como conceitos auxiliares o de gerenciamento ambiental, o de estu?rios como meio natural e o de manguezais como ecossistema. O estudo se deu levando em considera??o um modelo de fluxo
de atividades de uma fazenda t?pica seguindo o caminho dos res?duos produzidos desde o in?cio at? sua destina??o final, num roteiro adaptado de SCHERER (1999). O fluxo proposto estabeleceu uma seq??ncia de atividades onde ? identificado o
material de entrada, o processo de gest?o, os res?duos de sa?da e o destino dos res?duos ao longo da fase de cultivo do camar?o. A partir da? foi foram elaborados uma s?rie de quadros gerenciais com os dados levantados nas tr?s fazendas, de portes diferentes e conclui-se que o gerenciamento ambiental destas fazendas n?o segue os padr?es formais de um sistema de gerenciamento ambiental t?pico
Confrontando com o sistema proposto pela norma ISO14000 o estudo revelou que
todas as empresas est?o numa situa??o de n?o conformidade e que os impactos
sobre o meio ambiente continuam sendo muitos significativos. Entretanto, ? poss?vel
implantar a norma ISO14000 porque alguns procedimentos implantados pela
fazendas est?o corretos do ponto de vista do gerenciamento ambiental.
