As consequências do desequilíbrio na relação do homem com o meio ambiente está
evidenciado através do aquecimento global, a alta emissão dos gases de efeito
estufa e as oscilações na temperatura do planeta. Embora, no momento, a
expressão meio ambiente seja amplamente conhecida e compreenda a interação
entre todos os componentes da natureza, incluindo o ser humano, a complexidade
dessa interação costuma trazer dificuldades para que as pessoas se percebam
como parte integrante dela e, que, são elas responsáveis e capazes de influenciar e
contribuir para a diminuição dos problemas ambientais que nos cercam. Além de se
perceber como parte do meio ambiente é preciso entender que a saúde está
intimamente ligada ao ambiente e que a compreensão de muitos de seus eventos e
ações sobre esses, só poderá ocorrer numa perspectiva sistêmica. Para tanto, devese
considerar as alterações no ambiente físico, as relações socioeconômicas, a
população e suas condições de vida, bem como as modificações introduzidas pelo
processo de desenvolvimento, entre outros aspectos. A presente pesquisa tem como
objetivo analisar as mudanças climáticas e seus efeitos na saúde humana, sua
interação com o meio ambiente do trabalho e a saúde do trabalhador, observadas
as normas existentes para a proteção do meio ambiente, assim como na
responsabilidade individual de cada cidadão, para garantir o essencial direito a vida
saudável, além de descrever os processos das mudanças climáticas e as
repercussões reais ou prováveis na saúde humana, enfatizar a necessidade de
proteger o ambiente em que vivemos, pelo bem de nossa própria sobrevivência
assim como identificar fatores e avaliar os cenários de mudanças climáticas e
ambientais e suas incertezas, encontrar mecanismos que podem ser utilizados para
desenvolver uma rede de análise e intervenções sobre as repercussões dessas
mudanças na saúde humana. Explorar esse cenário, fazer suposições ou previsões
é bastante difícil, especialmente porque tudo o que estar por vir dependerá das
escolhas humanas. Logo, por mais que se possa tentar vislumbrar o que o futuro
reserva para a humanidade frente aos problemas ambientais hoje visualizados, às
mudanças climáticas e sua interferência na saúde humana e laboral, não há como
fazer uma previsão de como é que o homem estruturará sua existência no planeta,
mas isso é ele quem tem que escolher. As normas jurídicas existentes hoje já
sinalizam e direcionam a conduta humana no sentido de atentar para os cuidados
com o meio ambiente buscando amenizar os efeitos das mudanças climáticas para o

processes of climate changes and the actual or likely effects on human health,
emphasizing the need to protect the environment we live for the sake of our own
survival as well as identify and evaluate factors scenarios of climatic and
environmental changes and their uncertainties, to find mechanisms that can be used
to develop a network analysis and interventions on the impact of these changes on
human health. Explore this scenario, to make assumptions or predictions is very
difficult, especially because all that lie ahead will depend on human choices. Soon,
however much one may try to envision what the future holds for humanity regarding
environmental problems seen today, climate changes and their influence on human
health and labor, there is no way to forecast how they will structure their man
existence on the planet, but it is him who has to choose. The legal standards that
exist today have signal and direct human behavior in order to attend to the care of
the environment in order to ameliorate the effects of climate change for humans.
