Previous issue date: 2013 / A presente tese tem como objetivo analisar as disputas religiosas e pedagógicas, fundamentando-se na lógica de mercado, inerente à concepção de campo religioso de Pierre Bourdieu. Nessa visão, estudam-se as reelaborações pastorais e pedagógicas propostas por alguns porta-vozes religiosos. A delimitação espacial é o município de Araranguá e a temporal, os anos de 1951 a 1982. Salienta-se, nesse contexto, a presença da Congregação de Santa Catarina em Araranguá. Assim, chega-se às práticas pedagógicas instauradas pelas religiosas da Congregação, enfatizando sua ação como competição mercadológica após o surgimento de outras empresas religiosas no referido município. Nessa situação de mercado religioso, tornaram-se visíveis na pesquisa, igualmente, as práticas pedagógicas de outras agências religiosas, como o Espiritismo, a Igreja Luterana e a Igreja Evangélica Assembleia de Deus <br> / The present thesis aims to analyse the disputes religious and pedagogical, based of the market logic, inherent in the religious field conception of Pierre Bourdieu. In this view, we study the reelaborate pastoral and pedagogical proposals by some religious spokesmen. The spatial delimitation is the municipality of Araranguá and temporal, the years 1951 to 1982. Stresses, in this context, the presence of the Congregation of Santa Catarina in the valley of Araranguá. Thus, one comes to the pedagogical practices implemented by the nuns of the congregation, emphasizing its action as market competition, after the emergence of other religious enterprises in the municipality. In this situation of religious market, became visible in the research, also the pedagogical practices of other religious agencies such as Spiritism, the Lutheran Church and the Evangelical Church Assembly of God.
