Souza, Leandro Corsico January 2013 (has links)
Abstract: This study's objective is to identify the meanings of human rights of 81 participants in training in human rights education. The premise pointed by literature that such rights, historical and incomplete constructions of humanity, depend on education to disseminate a culture which is compatible to theirs is taken as truthful. To this effect, this papers seeks to analyze the objectives presented in the National Program of Human Rights - PNDH and in the National Plan for Human Rights Education - PNEDH in what they refer to the training of educators, highlighting its perspective of dissemination and multiplication of these rights through a formation process which evolves values and practices, and which goes beyond formal education. In this manner, Vygotsky's cultural-historical psychology (1989, 2008, 2009) is dealt with heading resignification of human rights triggered by teacher-training, considering the dialectic character of the appropriation of accumulated human knowledge of any kind by the singular individual. The method of identifying meaning cores (Aguiar e Ozella, 2009) based on Vygotsky oriented the analysis of data. The data was obtained from an ex post facto approach in a course in the area of education in human rights, in the modality of distance education, which took place in 2011 in Universidade Federal do Paraná. In relation to the identified meanings, a prefatory result regards the words related to education in human rights. The words most frequently inserted correspond to formal values and principles which are present in legal frameworks and in the legal vocabulary of these rights. Furthermore, three meaning cores were constituted: Defining Human Rights, Human Rights for yourself and for your neighbor, and (Re)Signifying Human Rights after training. In the intercore analysis, are defined two main profiles of meanings: a formalist profile, which conceives human rights in an abstract and formal way, meaning the training process from the seized and expanded knowledge; and a welfare profile, which conceives human rights as attitudes towards fellow citizens, meaning training from the actions to be developed, even if these actions are decontextualized from the historical and social statute of these rights. Such profiles reflect the mediation training provides. Considerations are made referring to discrepancies and contradictions between the obtained data and the objectives of human rights education. Keywords: human rights education; Vygotsky; meanings.

Docências trans : entre a decência e a abjeção

Santos, Dayana Brunetto Carlin dos January 2017 (has links)
Orientadora: Profa. Dra. À travesti somente a prostituição, as ruas, as pistas e o escândalo. Sexualidade. Biopolítica. Política. Cartografia. Professoras trans*. / Abstract: This doctoral thesis deals with an issue that has already been observed in the field of social movements of transvestites and transsexuals in Brazil and which establishes a hierarchy between bodies and practices of trans* teachers. The present research investigates the conditions for the possible existence for the common narrative that in order to be a teacher of Basic Education, the trans* teacher must adopt the role of transsexual, because such space is interdicted to transvestites. The social spaces left for the transvestites are only prostitution, streets and scandal. This narrative produces a static map of trans* teaching practices with fixed and well-defined boundaries. This research questions these regimes of knowledge-power-truth, and investigates how 'decent teaching' was established in schools. Through this 'decent teaching' situation, all bodies and conducts of teachers - trans* and cis* - are distinctly governed by rigid regulatory norms of gender, sexuality and race. The research looks for elements to understand how such spaces were constituted and how they authorize or prohibit this or that identity, paying attention specially to the fabrication of the experiences and bodies of trans* teachers, in their processes of subjectivation and self-experimentation, as well as in the dual constitution of some of the trans* teachers as teachers and sex workers. Through the cartographical method, it was possible to overlap a cartographic chart on the static map of the common narrative that shifts the way trans* teaching is conceived. Thus, any generalization of trans* teacher experiences becomes dangerous. Keywords: Decent Teaching. Gender. Sexuality. Biopolitics. Policy. Cartography. Trans* teachers.

Bueno, Rosa Elena January 2014 (has links)
Abstract: This dissertation analyzed the possibilities of proposing a transdisciplinary work between Literature and Human Rights, through the reading of the romance entitled "Captains of the Sand" by Jorge Amado (1937). By that time, there was the Reformatory, where the abandoned children were sent to. There have been many advances in the Human Sciences and Law relating to children and youth. From the Code of Minors (1927) to the Statute of Children and Adolescents (1990), from the Reformatory for CENSE – Social Education Center, what changes can be perceived by social actors working today? How to build the current captains of sand, captains of red earth that make up unpaved roads found in the alleys, in the suburbs, the captains of asphalt and marble? Does the perception of these questions contribute to the building of ethical and transformative subjectivity thinking? The theoretical precepts bring some constants in the complexity paradigm proposed by Morin (2000) and the prospect of Bronfrenbrenner (1996) on the Bioecology Human Development. The method has consisted of a similar route presented in the first chapter of the novel. After publication of a report in the Journal of the Afternoon about an assault, many social actors have written letters to the editor of the newspaper, in which they explain the concept that each one has about the "regeneration" of adolescents and the treatment they received in the "Reformatory" process. In this way, there are the letter of seamstress mother, the Secretary of the Chief of Police, the Director of the Reformatory, the Judge of Minors and the Father José Pedro. In this way, there have been invited to participate on this research two mothers of teenagers who attend the Juvenile Detention Center, a Judge of Infancy and youth, a Delegate of Adolescents, a religious leader, a Director of CENSE and five internal adolescents in the CENSE. Also it was considered appropriate to invite a journalist to weave comparisons regarding the composition of that kind of news and two teachers who work at PROEDUSEs - Education Program in socioeducation Units. The instruments used were interview, argumentative text and semi-structured questionnaire. The complexity of the observed phenomena attributed to research a qualitative, exploratory, ethnographic, descriptive and explanatory nature. We considered the Umberto Eco (1990) suggestion on "The Limits of Interpretation", as well as the one proposed by Leite (1985) and Bruner (1986) in their search for meaning core method. The following conclusions are: the lack of a more effective involvement of the family, the school, the safety net, in human construction. The effects of media and conspicuous consumption on infant’s development The illicit trade is a source of income, but implies prejudice, discrimination and exclusion of the possibility of a dignified and "lasting" life. Need for public policies for the follow-up to teenager time into juvenile detention center. Professionals need to discuss more about socio-educational and protective network. The hinged literature Human Rights provides a preventive training, warm human, comprehensive and integrated diversity to contemporary socio-educational special needs.

Radvanskei, Sônia de Fátima January 2015 (has links)
Professoras alfabetizadoras. Alfabetização e Letramento. Enunciação e Dialogicidade . / Abstract: This research aimed to focus on continuing education offered to literacy teachers of the Municipal Araucaria, the City Department of Education this city, to identify the influences that can be observed in the practices that develop to build literacy teaching for literacy. Investigated in this sense, the concepts, relationships and practices that develop in the consideration of these processes, the movements of dialogism, enunciation and responsiveness, based on the theoretical work of Mikhail Bakhtin (2011). In this perspective, the literacy teachers participating in the research conducted, are subjects of enunciation and discourse, seeking greater understanding of the senses and meanings of of alphabetization. In the research, a qualitative approach, we used a semi-structured interview initially; was conducted participant observation in the classroom of the three teachers, was held at the end, a meeting set to "conversation circle" in which led to the five literacy teachers participants the opportunity to hear his enunciations on the practices and strategies they develop and reveal their styles in the process of basic literacy. For the analysis of narratives in his speeches and activities that develop, we considered the concepts of dialogism, enunciation and responsiveness, in which language, as a means of social interaction, is field of discussion. For their approaches to the concepts of Bakhtin used for discussion and analysis of the research process on the continued training in basic literacy, we considered the theoretical contributions on teacher training developed by authors such as Shulman (1986), Nóvoa (1999), Brotto (2006 / 2008), Kramer (2010), Maldonado (2002), to obtain the information necessary for the analysis and relationships between concepts to analyze the processes identified in the utterances and surveyed practices. Among the main results obtained, are the perception that the the the alphabetizing teachers builds their profession in their social relations, in their daily practices and experiences, and dialogue with the theories of continuing formation, which mobilize in their conceptions and practices. In this sense, the alphabetization teachers recognize the presence of utterances and contributions of the "other" (authors, students, peers, teacher educators, teachers and students) in the composition of their teaching. Showed that in building their visions and processes of alphabetization / literacy, they consider a certain conception of language and children, leading them to understand the alphabetization and literacy, present in the experiences of his career. In the observations on his craft, working with the language in the classroom, the teachers presented positions and interpretations verbalized dialogic and responsiveness on the conduct of literacy processes The significant experiences and practices in which consider the needs of students, showed views of playfulness, the ludico, other ways of reading, searching in the literature, in the poetry, in the art and music, their styles of literacy, seeking senses seized on the social spaces of students, to build more interactive processes literacy. It was noticed that the practices of literacy teachers result of dialogue processes, exchanges, relationships with students and their peers. The signaling, for trainers teachers, the need of, beyond the realm of knowledge of the mother tongue, the experiences of dynamics more interactive and dialogical and contemplating the dialogue in the activities of formation continuing for literacy. KEYWORDS: Continuing Formation. Training teachers. Literacy and Literacy. Basic Literacy and Literacy. Basic Alphabetization Literacy. Enunciation and dialogical.

Dupla excepcionalidade e interação social : impasses e possibilidades

Taucei, Joulilda dos Reis January 2015 (has links)
Dupla excepcionalidade. Dislexia. Interação social. / Abstract: In the last three decades in contemporaneous scientific literature a trend can be observed among foreign researchers towards investigating the subject of "Dual Exceptionality", covering the complex reality of some people with above average skills in one or more areas of knowledge, whether this be academic, intellectual, motor, social, artistic, inter alia, and who on the other hand have some specific disturbance and/or specific learning difficulties. The question guiding this study was: How do interactions in the family, social and school settings of high ability/gifted (HA/G) and dyslexic students occur? The study was developed respecting the theoretical and methodological principles of the historical and cultural perspective based on the contributions of Vygotsky, who considers the importance of studying social interaction in order to understand the totality of human behaviour. The methodological design used to develop the study involved a qualitative approach of an exploratory nature with multiple case studies. It also had recourse to Aguiar and Ozella in the identification of clusters of meaning in the material collected. The following data collection instruments were used: a semi-structured interview, observation and documents (Diagnostic Assessments of Dyslexia, High Ability/Giftedness Assessment Reports, among others). 42 people took part in the study which involved the investigation of 4 case studies. These included students with dual exceptionality, children or adolescent's family members, teachers and other professionals who interact with them, such as psychologists, speech therapists and psychopedagogues. Three clusters of meaning were found: recognizing students with dual exceptionality: does reading and writing disturbance conceal giftedness?; the complex and contradictory social interaction of high ability and dyslexic students; and teaching practices at school and specialized care at school for high ability and dyslexic students. Based on the analysis and discussion of the clusters of meaning, the conclusion was reached that interaction within families, despite the difficulties, is profoundly linked to the quality of life of these children. With regard to interactions at school, these were found to be extremely vexed, given that these children are not understood by many teachers. Unawareness exists among teachers in relation to the reality of dual exceptionality. The greatest difficulty faced by schools is meeting the special needs of children with high abilities of the creative-productive and dyslexic type. The difficulty these children have in their interactions in social environments is expressed in their tendency towards isolation, introversion and even detachment from reality. To a great extent the results are in agreement with the studies of Silverman and Shäywitz and emphasize the pertinence of Vygotsky's understanding of social interaction as a factor promoting the development of superior psychological functions. The results also reflect the contributions of Gardner, in terms of being able to observe different types of intelligence, and the contributions of Renzulli who, in agreement with Gardner, recognizes not only academic and intellectual high abilities but also high abilities of the creative-productive kind. These researchers and theoreticians can serve as a basis of support for schools with regard to planning mediations adequate for high ability and dyslexic students. Key-words: Giftedness. Dual exceptionality. Dyslexia. Social interaction.

Produzir o sexo verdadeiro, regular o sexo educado : aproximações entre o cinema pornô e a educação sexual

Mikos, Camila Macedo Ferreira January 2017 (has links)
Pornografia. Dispositivo de sexualidade. Garganta Profunda. Enciclopédia da Vida Sexual. / Abstract: What does pornographic movies teach about sex? Are pornographic pedagogies of sexuality incompatible with those pedagogies exercised by other instances - recognized and legitimized - of sex education? Or these multiple discourses would be under the aegis of the same norm - constituted by it as well as (re)constituents of it? Instrumented by the studies of gender and sexuality with post-structuralist theoretical perspective, the proposal of this research is to approach these questions taking the film Deep Throat (1972) and the five volumes of Enciclopédia da Vida Sexual: da Fisiologia à Psicologia (1973) as objects of analysis. From the foucaultian notion of dispositive of sexuality, I try to understand the interlacings of power-knowledge that enabled that the discourses produced by these two pedagogical instances have been taken as true about sex, gender, desire and the practices that result from this chain, as well as to identify the knowledges that would be (re)produced by the film and the encyclopedia - being these knowledge, therefore, also conditioners of other discursive emergencies. In an approachment movement of cultural artifacts usually understood as discordant (film and encyclopedia), and through the presentation of elements of the history of brazilian school sex education, extracted from the period between 1920 and 1990, this work intends to essay a kind of genealogy of sex education, showing the historical continuities and discontinuities that make possible a meeting between pornography and sex education in the 1970s.

Souza, Joelson Carvalho de January 2017 (has links)
Abstract: The school climate is defined as the set of reciprocal interactions among the school actors, involving the school structure itself, internal relationships patterns that promote behavioral adjustments and environmental contexts. The victimization (bullying) is understood in the light of Dan Olweus' definitions, who defined it as a phenomena that is manifested when an individual is subjected to negative, physical and/or psychological and repetitive actions that involve imbalance of power. This study aims to investigate if the school climate allows the incidence of bullying, based on a biological perspective of development, regarding the importance of ecological systems, specially the microsystem (school, in this case). Moreover, a quantitative empirical study was drawn up, involving 1219 participants from public elementary school in Curitiba, PR. In order to analyze the collected data, two questionnaires were used: School Climate Survey Student (SCSS), School Climate Measurement Scale, adapted into Brazilian version and an adapted version of Aggression and Peer Victimization Scale (EVAP) for bullying measurement. Data analysis was developed using R Statistical Computing software, descriptive analysis (percentages) of the sample, internal consistency analyzes of the School Climate Measurement Scale and the Aggression and Peer Victimization Scale (EVAP). Additionally, significant positive correlations were found between the six dimensions considered in the School Climate Measurement Scale and significant negative correlations between these dimensions and the EVAP / bullying score were evidenced. Finally, multilevel regression analysis was performed as a possibility to investigate the research problem at two different levels (student, school), regarding different models that standardize multilevel approaches. The results presented in the multilevel model revealed significant effects for only 1 of the 7 dimensions of the school climate at the student level, the other dimensions had no significant effects. In addition, the second level (school) showed significant effects of only two of the seven measured dimensions. In view of these findings, it is reasonable to recognize the significant effects of a small part of the school climate construct (student level) on the EVAP / bullying response variable, although it is not possible to state for the sample of this study, the absolute influence of the school climate the incidence of bullying. This is obviously considering that the school climate is a multidimensional construct. Nevertheless, the ideas proposed by Silva and Costa (2016) is that the incidence of bullying does not only arise from the individual level (students), but also from the context (school), and the school characteristics (dimensions) Contexts more or less favorable to the incidence of bullying. A disciplina educação moral e cívica no curso normal do Colégio Martinus (1969-1978) : diálogos e representações

Santos, Edilene Maria Leite dos January 2017 (has links)
Curso Normal. Educação Moral e Cívica. Decreto-lei nº 869/69. / Abstract: Due to the fact that it was created in Curitiba-PR, by German immigrants and some of their descendants, the Martinus School recognizes itself as an evangelical-luteran institution. This confessional nature was responsible for the main objective of this piece of work: to analyze the setting of moral and civism, based on the subject of Moral and Civic Education (MCE) at Martinus School's Normal Course, in the period that lasts from 1969 (year in which the implantation of Normal Course at Martinus School happened) to 1978 (year in which Normal Course stopped its activities). To do so, the research was guided by the following issue: in which extent did the MCE discipline hold talks with Martinus' religious principles? Would MCE be a reinforcement or a complement to christian values and the concepts of morality and civism included in the pedagogical Project of Martinus'? The years Normal Course of the temporal cut researched are inserted in the context of the civil-militar dictatorship (1964-1985), when sectors of brazilian society were affected directly or indirectly, by measures originated by this political system. Among these measures, the inclusion of MCE as an obligatory school subject in every level and category of Brazil's school education stands out, as said by Decree-law nº 869/69. In what concerns to theorical and methodological benchmark, it was chosen to use Roger Chartier and his considerations about the concepts of appropriation and representation, and the concept of school discipline of André Chervel, which has contributed to comprehend the questions related to MCE. To achieve the goals of this research, the sources used were the official educational legislation and standardization and many documents found in the archive of Martinus School: internal regulations, teaching plans, curriculums from Normal Course and reports sent to State Council Education of Paraná. Also, printed material was used such as Educação and Documenta magazines, and an edition of Jornal State of Paraná. Beyond written sources, memory and spoken knowledge were also used. This piece of work was split into two chapters. The first one ascertains laws and rules that established and organized Martinus School's Normal Course, and also the deployment and organization of MCE on the same course, as said by Decree-law nº 869/69 and Law nº 5.692/71. The second chapter by the analysis of representation of moral and civism, included in the curriculum of Martinus School's Normal Course, aiming to check if and how christian values, morality and civism, existent in pedagogical project of Martinus' Normal Course were reinforced or complemented by MCE. As a result, it is concluded that, because it is a luteran confessional school, moral and civism included in the pedagogical project of Martinus School's Normal Course preceded the Decree-law nº 869/69. This law validated and reinforced values already existent at this instituition, because of the obligatorily MCE subject and of a process of appropriation coming from some teachers and leaders in Martinus School. Key-words: Martinus School; Normal Course; Moral and Civical Education; Decree-law nº 869/69.
