Se plantea como objetivo determinar la asociación entre las relaciones familiares y la asertividad en estudiantes de nivel secundario de dos colegios estatales del distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho, provincia y departamento de Lima. La muestra estuvo constituida por 260 estudiantes de 1ro a 5to de secundaria, 46% del sexo masculino y 54% del sexo femenino, cuyas edades oscilaron entre 12 y 17 años. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron: el Cuestionario de Relaciones Familiares, producto de la adaptación de la Escala de Clima Familiar de Moos et al., (1995), realizado por Valdés et al., (2012), y el Autoinforme de la Conducta Asertiva (ADCA-1) de García y Magáz (2011). La investigación es de tipo descriptivo correlacional y comparativa.
En cuanto a los resultados, se halló una relación moderada entre conflicto y autoasertividad y, a nivel comparativo, se encuentran diferencias estadísticamente significativas según sexo, edad y grado académico. Los resultados son analizados a partir de la literatura existente. / The objective is to determine the association between family relationships and assertiveness in high school students from two state schools in San Juan de Lurigancho district, province and department of Lima. The sample consisted of 260 students from 1st to 5th year of secondary school, 46% male and 54% female, whose ages ranged from 12 to 17 years. The instruments used were the Family Relations Questionnaire, product of the adaptation of the Family Environment Scale of Moos et al., (1995), carried out by Valdés et al., (2012), and the Self-report of Assertive Behavior (ADCA-1) of García and Magáz (2011). The research is correlational descriptive and comparative.
Regarding the results, a moderate relationship was found between conflict and self-assertiveness and, at a comparative level, statistically significant differences were found according to sex, age and academic grade. The results are analyzed from the existing literature. / Tesis
