Previous issue date: 2014 / A cidade de Itajaí possui um histórico de frequentes inundações em sua área urbana. Das inundações mais recentes, a de novembro de 2008 foi a que trouxe mais prejuízos, tanto econômicos quanto sociais. Pretende-se, com a dissertação, verificar as relações que se estabelecem entre as dinâmicas de valorização de terra, dinâmica socioambiental e a dinâmica do planejamento urbano no município, e com isso, verificar como as inundações em Itajaí têm influenciado na produção do espaço urbano. Através de levantamentos e sobreposições de dados e mapas será possível levantar fatos e hipóteses que possibilitem responder a essa questão.<br> / Abstract : The city of Itajaí has a long history of flooding in its urban area. Out of the recent floods records, the November 2008 flood was the one which brought the worst economic and social losses. This dissertation intends to verify the relationship between urban land values dynamics, social- environmental dynamics and the urban planning dynamics and so verify how the floods in Itajaí have influenced the production of urban space. To reach this aim we use surveys and the overlapping of data layers and maps, what made possible to raise facts and hypothesis that help to answer this question.
