Denna undersökning gjordes för att ta reda på hur idrottslärare ser på sina idrottshallar. Jag har personligen befunnit mig i ett antal idrottshallar och funderat över varför alla inte ser likadana ut. Hur ser de olika hallarna ut och vilka attribut upplevs som positiva kontra negativa? Hur hanterar de olika idrottslärarna sina olika förutsättningar och hur påverkar dessa förutsättningar undervisningen i idrott och hälsa? För att få information om detta besökte jag fyra olika skolidrottshallar och intervjuade fyra olika idrottslärare på tillhörande skolor i Skåne angående deras förflutna och samtida erfarenheter. Resultaten visar att hallens golv, storlek, akustik, materiella tillgångar, åtkomst till sidoutrymmen och möjlighet att avdela hallen har stor betydelse för undervisningens kvalitet. / This survey was conducted to find out how physical education teachers perceive their sports halls. Personally, I have been in a number of sports halls and thought about why they look different. What does these different halls look like and which attributes are perceived as positive contra negative? How do the various P.E-teachers handle their conditions and how does it affect the physical education? To accumulate this information I visited four different school sports halls and interviewed four different P.E-teachers on these schools, concerning their past and present experiences in the field. The results show that the hall’s floor, size, acoustics, material assets, the access to various spaces and the possibility to divide the hall has great influence on the quality of teaching in physical education.
