J’ai amorcé ce projet doctoral avec le désir de questionner et renouveler la pratique par laquelle j’accueillais les jeunes familles qui demandaient l’initiation chrétienne. Pour atteindre cet objectif, j’ai centré mes recherches sur la pratique du discernement des parents. J’ai choisi de mener cette recherche en donnant la parole aux parents qui demandent l’initiation, car ils sont les principaux acteurs du phénomène, de là le choix de l’analyse phénoménologique comme méthode d’analyse qualitative. Cette analyse a pu me mener à une description du phénomène et à ses principaux constituants. Des témoignages des participants, j’ai choisi de faire ressortir l’expérience de relecture d’un élément de salut dans un contexte de transmission difficile. C’est cette expérience qui a été corrélée avec celle du peuple juif (Exode 14-15), celle de Corneille (Actes 10) et celle de la Samaritaine (Jean 4, 1-42). Afin de faire parler ces textes, j’ai choisi la narratologie, car cette approche du récit me semblait bien répondre à la phénoménologie, utilisée comme méthode d’analyse qualitative, qui porte attention aux récits des participants. Cette expérience a aussi bénéficié de l’éclairage du témoignage écrit de Marie de l’Incarnation (Lettres XL et XLI). Pour bien établir le contexte dans lequel prend place le témoignage des parents, je mettrai en valeur les écrits d’É-Martin Meunier, sociologue des religions. Ce cheminement m’a mené à proposer quatre balises pour renouveler les pratiques d’accueil des parents qui demandent l’initiation chrétienne de leurs enfants. Accueillir, en évitant tout préjugé et en respectant le discernement des parents qui les a menés à faire la demande de l’initiation chrétienne. Favoriser une rencontre personnelle en revoyant le temps et les lieux de nos pratiques et en outillant les intervenants pastoraux par le dialogue pastoral, l’accompagnement spirituel ou l’écoute active. Révéler plutôt qu’enseigner, en s’habilitant à témoigner en reconnaissant l’action de Dieu dans sa vie, permettant ainsi de lire son action dans le récit de vie des parents demandant l’initiation chrétienne que l’on aura pris soin d’écouter. Travailler à construire une communauté catéchisante, pour cela développer des propositions à tous les âges de la vie et intégrer l’initiation chrétienne au coeur du vécu communautaire. / I began this doctoral project with the desire to question and to renew the practice by which I welcomed the young families which asked for the first communion and for the confirmation. To reach this goal, I centered my searches on the practice of the discernment of the parents. I chose to lead this research by handing over to the parents who ask for the initiation, because they are the main actors of the phenomenon, from there the choice of the phenomenological analysis as qualitative method of analysis. This analysis was able to lead us to a description of the phenomenon and to its main constituents. Testimonies of the participants, I chose to highlight the experience of review of an element of salute in a context of difficult transmission. It is this experience which was correlated to that of the Jewish people (Exodus 14-15), that of the Crow (Acts 10) and that of the Samaritan (Jean 4, 1-42). To make these texts speak, I chose the narratology, because this approach of the narrative seemed to me good to answer the phenomenology, used as qualitative method of analysis, which pays attention on the narratives of the participants. This experience(experiment) also benefited from the lighting of the testimony written by Marie de l' Incarnation (Lettres XL and XLI). To establish the context in which takes place the testimony of the parents, I shall emphasize the papers of É-Martin Meunier, sociologist of the religions. This progress led me to propose four beacons to renew the ways pastoral ministers welcome the parents asking Christian initiation for their children. Welcome, by avoiding any prejudice and by respecting the discernment of the parents which led them to make the request of the Christian initiation. Favor a personal meeting by revising the time and the places of our practices and by equipping the pastoral ministers by the pastoral dialogue, the spiritual accompaniment or the active listening. Reveal rather than teach, by authorizing to testify by recognizing God's share in its life, so allowing to read its action in the narrative of life of the parents asking for the Christian initiation that I shall have taken care of listening to. Work on a friendly community, for it develop proposals at all the ages of the life and integrate Christian initiation at the heart of the community real-life experience.
